This is the guy who got expelled from Harvard for cheating on an exam... to set the standard for his principles in life as a politician. Perhaps he should also get the Medal of Honor for the bravery he showed to try and save Mary Jo Kopechne after he drove her car into the pond...and drowning her when he managed to extricate himself, walk back to his motel, complain to the manager about a noisy party, take a shower, sleep the night, chat to a friend the next morning, order two newspapers, meet his lawyers and finally report the accident to the police at 9.45am.
I can foresee that when, and if, he succumbs to his current brain cancer, the Libs and media will elevate him to a level of greatness exceeding that of all our Presidents, Mother Theresa, and all the saints in heaven. Oh well, this proves that time and money can make all things right. Boy, these Lib politicians know how to take care of each other, don't they?
