I thought the purpose of the Cash for Clunkers program was to get the gas guzzlers off the highways!

But yet, the Government Motors GM 2009 HUMMER H3T with an EPA mileage rating of 14/18 is on the list of government approved vehicles.

HOW COULD THAT BE? HMMMMMM!

Perhaps the unions think that this would reduce the inventory of unsold Monster SUV's. And, God forgive(excuse the expression), if the auto unions aren't made happy after all the cash they put into Democrats pockets. So when the program ran out of money, our wonderful Dem politicians threw in another $2 Billion into the program to help move those white elephants.

And why not? They think us taxpayers are so stupid that we are more than happy to pay more taxes so that they can look like heroes.
