UNIONS IN BED WITH BO! And it really smells bad.

The National Right to Work Legal  Defense Foundation is a nonprofit, charitable organization providing free legal aid to employees whose human or civil rights have been violated by compulsory unionism abuses.  The Foundation, which can be contacted toll-free at 1-800-336-3600, is assisting thousands of employees in more than 200 cases nationwide. They put together this short but interesting video on how unions have politicians (primarily Dems) in their hip pockets.



Although surprisingly NOT registered as a lobbyist, SEIU Top Boss Andy Stern is The White House's most frequent visitor. Union bosses get top billing at high-profile administration events. Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis's last job was at Big Labor-front group American Rights at Work.

We need to elect politicians who are not incumbent on union support, and therefore not beholden to them.

WHAT A GREAT WEEK IT WAS FOR CONSERVATIVES!

Last week was one of the greatest weeks in my political watch-dogging career ever since the Liar-in-Chief got himself elected by fooling millions of addle-brained optimists with his "Change we can believe in" lies.   Now after his first year in office will be the new topic of revisionist history, we discover that we really didn't listen carefully enough.  What he was really saying to those morons who were fooled by him was:  "CHAINS WE CAN BELIEVE IN!"

Here's the sequence of events that led to last week being so great:

1.  Massachusetts goes Republican, and elects Scott Brown to fill fat-head Kennedy's fat-ass seat (let's call this a belated fitting tribute to Mary Jo Kopechne).

2.  This then hammers a death blow to BO's plans for control over our lives by seriously crippling the union-crafted health care plan.

3.  Next, the Supreme Court unshackles the First Amendment and lets corporations free themselves of the limitations imposed on them regarding their political contributions.  Now George Soros, lawyers and unions will no longer have a monopoly on political campaign funding.

4.  Then, as a bonus, late in the week, stupid Air America, the liberal talk show of the stupid liberal elitists, went out of business - which is probably a redundancy because nobody was listening to it anyway.                  

Finally, thinking back on the week, BO did not win any awards or peace prizes for his "intentions" and I don't recall that he told any significant lies.  NO LIES!  NOW THAT IS REALLY HARD TO IMAGINE.  (I;m sure he'll make up for it in next weeks State of the Union address).

Oh yeah....and the Colts and Saints both won their championships.   GO SAINTS!

MORE PROOF OF THIS PRESIDENT'S STUPIDITY

Remember all those people who told us     how "intelligent" Obama is? Well in his interview with George Stephanopoulos, Obama said Brown won because people were frustrated that Obama’s agenda was moving TOO SLOWLY!!


Is there a yard stick long enough to measure this guy’s arrogance? If people were upset because things were moving too slowly, why elect someone who pledged to slow it down even more. Why not just elect Martha Coakley? She would certainly not have been an impediment to Obama’s agenda.


So, to get back to Obama’s intelligence, if he truly believes this, his stupidity is unparalleled. But that was clearly established already when he said he traveled to 57 states during his campaign.

Your votes blocked total control over our lives by the Democratic party, their union bosses and their special interest affiliates (like lawyers).

Our Liar-in-Chief once more proved to be a monumental failure in achieving his objectives.  THANK GOD (excuse the expression) for that!

Just look at his recent record:

• Traveled to Copenhagen to get Olympics for Chicago. FAILED!
• Travel to Copenhagen to get some grand global warming treaty. FAILED!
• Campaigned in Virginia for Democrat Creigh Deeds for Governor. Republican Bob McDonnell won. 
•  FAILED!
• Campaigned in New Jersey for Jon Corzine for Governor. Republican Chris Christie wins. 
•  FAILED!
• Campaigned in Massachusetts for Martha Coakley for senate seat of Ted Kennedy. Scott Brown wins.  
• FAILED!

This guy is a big LOSER!  And it seems to me that the worse thing that can happen to a Democrat candidate for office right now is to have BO make a campaign speech on his/her behalf.  Actually it's like becoming a KISS OF DEATH! 

The people of America, and the Tea Party movement, are having their voices being heard.  We don't want--or need-- health care reform as being proposed, at least until first we try to eliminate the laws against health insurance companies being restricted from crossing state lines and see how that simple move could increase competition and thus reduce costs.  This is a law that makes no sense to me at all; auto and property insurers don't have any state limitations...so what's the deal with health insurers.


Furthermore, we don't want or need any more Bills that needlessly increase our national debt, Cap and Trade, and more hidden taxes.  Let our voices be heard once again in November and let's kick these arrogant, free-spending bastards back home and elect responsible, conservative politicians who are more interested in representing the people...instead of taking control over our lives.

Democrats and their union bosses will control our lives

Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are banning all forced-unionism opponents from the final “Obamacare” negotiations -- but they’re inviting union-label politicians to the head of the bargaining table.

“Obamacare” will force doctors, nurses and other medical professionals under Big Labor’s thumb. With union bosses having the last word, the final “compromise” could become the biggest Big Labor power grab in history.

Remember BO's very words on January 31, 2008:

“That's what I will do in bringing all parties together, not negotiating behind closed doors, but bringing all parties together, and broadcasting those negotiations on C-SPAN so that the American people can see what the choices are...”

Now Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are up to the same old politics as usual -- the very same insider tricks they campaigned against -- huddling together behind closed doors to craft their government takeover of health care.

They’re only allowing union-label Democrats in the room. They’re banishing cameras and blocking out the American people from the debate. So much for transparency. So much for campaign pledges.

But even in these secret “negotiations,” there is one promise you can be certain Barack Obama will never break:

“I owe these unions...I don’t mind feeling obligated.”

So it should come as no surprise that his ENTIRE “Obamacare” scheme is nothing more than a thinly-veiled Big Labor power grab. And with Big Labor insurance plans recently exempted from the “Cadillac” plan tax, it's never been more obvious that union bosses are pulling the strings.

Why yes, he did! Obama couldn't even bring himself to use the word "Muslim" or "Islamic." So I did a bit more research. So far as I can determine Barack Obama hasn't been able to bring himself to utter the word "Islamic" or "Muslim" one single solitary time in referring to the Crotchbomber or the terrorist threat that is making commercial air travel miserable for all of us. And the very idea that Obama believes that our little Muslim friend who tried to bring down that Delta airliner over Detroit is just an "isolated extremist" is a vivid reminder of how poorly protected America is with the current regime in power."

LIES, LIES, AND MORE LIES....how long are we going to tolerate it?

In one year of campaigning, and one year in office, this president has told more BOLDFACED, OUTRIGHT LIES to the American public about openness, transparency, lobbyists, spending and economic stimulation than Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy, Bernie Madoff and Pinocchio combined. And he continues to do so in regard to this healthcare bill. Check this out:



When a liberal democrat like Jack Cafferty on CNN even calls you out on your lies, how do you have the gall to show your face on TV as much as you do and arrogantly pretend that you're the most honorable and righteous politician ever elected to high office. I bet all those idiots who voted for you sure are proud of their choice now.

Who does he represent anyway: The people of America, the unions, lobbyists, lawyers or big money interests like George Soros? It sure as hell doesn't look like it's the people of America!

Listen people, if we don't become more active now by writing, calling, or otherwise protesting our representatives in state and national governments about the lies and arrogance of these socialists in Washington, and the direction in which they are taking our country, we, our kids, and our grandchildren will become serfs to the Democratic Party and their Union bosses.

FOX NEWS...AND THE TRUTH.

The BO Administration, while opposing offshore drilling at home, found $2 billion of U.S. Export-Import Bank money to lend to Brazilian oil company to drill off their coast. And here's why: Democrat's leading donor (by far), George Soros owned a large position in the Petrobas oil company...and some analysts say this is only a "preliminary" investment by BO in this company. (I guess a pimp has to protect his hookers...wouldn't ya say).

But here's the interesting part: ONLY FOX NEWS REPORTED ON THIS!!!

Why is that do you suppose? Perhaps the other media news agencies have been "bought off" by BO and Soros to avoid publishing stories like this to purposely keep the dumb masses uninformed about their plans to destroy capitalism. What else are they not telling us? Remember when Fox was running the stories on ACORN for about 2 weeks when Charlie Gibson on GMA said that he never heard anything about it. After about 2 weeks all the media were required (embarassed) into start covering the ACORN story...or otherwise really look stupid.

Since it's too darn cold to be on the beach, here are some thoughts and observations from my comfy chair by my cozy fireplace.

-- Do you s'pose Robert Gibb got his job as Press Secretary because he is the dumbest, inarticulate idiot that the Obama Administration could find?

-- Do you think anyone from the White House will ever call Glenn Beck on the dedicated phone that Beck had installed on his set, and explain the stupidity that is going on in Congress?

-- Do you feel as insecure as I do about our country's safety? Stupid voters have elected a lightweight, inexperienced president, who appointed a lightweight political hack (who was Clinton's Chief of Staff) with no national security experience (Leon Panetta) as head of the CIA, and chose Janet Incompetano (Ooops, I meant Napolitano), the former governor of Arizona whose only security experience was her ineffective effort to secure the Mexican border in her state, as Secretary of Homeland Security (thus pitting her intelligence against Al Queda). Where does BO dig up these unqualified morons, and where does he get the stones to appoint them?

-- Do you feel as I do that this administration is running this country against the will of the people, and that it clearly holds us all in contempt?

-- Since BO has not asked Congress to declare a formal declaration of war on Al Queda and all Muslim terrorists, and prefers to have civilian trials for these terrorists instead of turning them over to the military, isn't he guilty of mass murder by acting as judge and jury in sending drones to kill "alleged" enemies in Afghanistan and Pakistan without a fair trial? Just wonderin'.

An American Horror Story, this is what we will look like in 50 to a 100 years.

"Don’t Cry For Me, America!" In the early 20th century, Argentina was one of the richest countries in the world. While Great Britain’s maritime power and its far-flung empire had propelled it to a dominant position among the world’s industrialized nations, only the United States and Germany challenged Argentina for the position of the world’s second-most powerful economy.

It was blessed with abundant agriculture, vast swaths of rich farmland laced with navigable rivers and an accessible port system. Its level of industrialization was higher than many European countries: railroads, automobiles and telephones were commonplace. In 1916, a new president was elected. Hipólito Irigoyen had formed a party called The Radicals under the banner of “fundamental change” with an appeal to the middle class. Among Irigoyen’s changes: mandatory pension insurance, mandatory health insurance, and support for low-income housing construction to stimulate the economy. Put simply, the state assumed economic control of a vast swath of the country’s operations and began assessing new payroll taxes to fund its efforts.
With an increasing flow of funds into these entitlement programs, the government’s pay-outs soon became overly generous. Before long its outlays surpassed the value of the taxpayers’ contributions. Put simply, it quickly became under-funded, much like the United States’ Social Security and Medicare programs. The death knell for the Argentine economy, however, came with the election of Juan Perón. Perón had a fascist and corporatist upbringing; he and his charismatic wife aimed their populist rhetoric at the nation’s rich.

This targeted group “swiftly expanded to cover most of the propertied middle classes, who became an enemy to be defeated and humiliated.” Under Perón, the size of government bureaucracies exploded through massive programs of social spending and by encouraging the growth of labor unions. High taxes and economic mismanagement took their inevitable toll even after Perón had been driven from office. But his populist rhetoric and “contempt for economic realities” lived on. Argentina’s federal government continued to spend far beyond its means. Hyperinflation exploded in 1989, the final stage of a process characterized by “industrial protectionism, redistribution of income based on increased wages, and growing state intervention in the economy…” The Argentinean government’s practice of printing money to pay off its public debts had crushed the economy. Inflation hit 3000%, reminiscent of the Weimar Republic. Food riots were rampant; stores were looted; the country descended into chaos.

And by 1994, Argentina’s public pensions — the equivalent of Social Security — had imploded. The payroll tax had increased from 5% to 26%, but it wasn’t enough. In addition, Argentina had implemented a value-added tax (VAT), new income taxes, a personal tax on wealth, and additional revenues based upon the sale of public enterprises. These crushed the private sector, further damaging the economy. A government-controlled “privatization” effort to rescue seniors’ pensions was attempted. But, by 2001, those funds had also been raided by the government, the monies replaced by Argentina’s defaulted government bonds. By 2002, “…government fiscal irresponsibility… induced a national economic crisis as severe as America’s Great Depression.”

In 1902 Argentina was one of the world’s richest countries. Little more than a hundred years later, it is poverty-stricken, struggling to meet its debt obligations amidst a drought. We’ve seen this movie before. The Democrats’ populist plans can’t possibly work, because government bankrupts everything it touches. History teaches us that ObamaCare and unfunded entitlement programs will be utter, complete disasters.

Today’s Democrats are guilty of more than stupidity; they are enslaving future generations to poverty and misery. And they will be long gone when it all implodes. They will be as cold and dead as Juan Perón when the piper must ultimately be paid.

NATIONAL SECURITY, ECONOMIC STIMULUS, HEALTHCARE...excuses, lies, more excuses, more lies!

After a full year of this president's child-like behavior in office, can you believe there are still some people out there who aren't convinced of his incompetence! It's been a year already and he has failed to appoint a TSA Leader (in fact, he only recommeded one in September). That's how much he is concerned over our air safety. Between him and Janet Napolitano, I would be very worried about flying anywhere these days.

Many of us who criticized Obama’s candidacy did so because we felt he was too inexperienced to be president. His first year in office has done nothing to allay those fears. He has put together a team of White House operatives who are admitted tax cheats, including his own appointee as Secretary of the Treasury, and who politicize and make excuses for every crisis. Their first concern seems to be to protect the president from blame, not to protect the American people from harm, whether it be from failed economic policies or terrorist attacks.

And the president seems unable to go much beyond reading a script. He shows little actual leadership, whether in crafting a health care plan or devising a coherent foreign policy, preferring to delegate to others duties that he should assume. He turned over responsibility for the stimulus plan and totally revamping of U.S. health care to Democrats in Congress, with predictably unsatisfactory results. Meanwhile, his policy of engagement with enemies like Iran and North Korea has simply emboldened them to pursue their nuclear aims at a faster pace.

Americans have given President Obama an extended honeymoon, but their love affair with a man who showed much promise, if not actual accomplishment, is cooling down. The latest Rasmussen presidential tracking numbers show the president at only 47 percent approval. Unless Obama dramatically changes course, 2010 should be the year when Americans should start screaming out for IMPEACHMENT.
