OBAMA'S EGO AND LIES...A REMINDER FOR 2012

Here's a gem from Neal Boortz that definitely needs repeating.  Enjoy.

Talk about EGO...

.. and I thought I had an ego! My little ego would rattle around like a BB in the boxcar of Obama's ego. During a speech the other day, the Community Organizer reminded us how lucky we are to have him - a guy named Barack Hussein Obama - in the White House. He says, "The first time around it's like lightning in a bottle. There's something special about it, because you're defying the odds. And as time passes, you start taking it for granted that a guy named Barack Hussein Obama is president of the United States. But we should never take it for granted."

Take him for granted? Are you kidding? There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about having an unqualified anti-capitalist big-government empty suit in the White House. I believe that Barack Hussein Obama - as he seems fond of referring to himself - is the most profoundly dangerous man who has ever served as our president. I am actually thankful that I'm not 35 years old and will thus live to see the results of this man's reign of power. Take him for granted? Hardly.

What we're seeing here is the beginning of campaign Obama version 2012. Notice lately that PrezBo has been really hyping the "change" theme again. One can only imagine that Americans really do want change. But at this point, the change would be to get rid of this Marxist hack in the White House and get this country back on track. Now THAT would be change! But here's the line that you better get used to .. 2012 is still a long ways away. Obama tells a DNC crowd ..

When you look back at the track record of work that we've done over the last two years, I think it's fair to say the promise we made to the American people has been kept, that we have delivered in change that we can believe in ... I don't want us to lose sight of the huge opportunities we have to seize the moment and make sure that America is not just changed, but is changed for the better.
Really? Obama has delivered on the promise made to the American people? Where do we start here? How about the promise that if the stimulus plan was passed unemployment wouldn't go above 8 percent? How are we doing on that promise? And what about restoring American respect around the world? Oh yeah ... he really delivered on that one, didn't he? Close Gitmo within one year? Yup .... That promise has been kept also. Cutting the deficit? Another real winner.

Here's a promise made that Obama could have kept a few weeks ago! Obama said:
"If American workers are being denied their right to organize when I'm in the White House, I will put on a comfortable pair of shoes and I will walk on that picket line with you as president of the United States." Did you see The Community Organizer in Wisconsin? Nope ... didn't go.

Don't know about you, but I've had quite enough of Obama-style change. I want to see changes made to take us back to economic liberty, limited government, lower debt and the understanding that our problems can best be solved by reliance on the incredible energy of free markets.

Enough of Obama's economic fascism. Hopefully enough American people will see through this dangerous phony to avoid four more years of the Obama disaster.

UNION HACK TEACHERS USE KIDS AS SHILLS

HOW LOW CAN THESE FREAKIN' UNION HACKS SINK TO MAKE THEIR POINT?

Union teachers in Wisconsin taking their pupils to the Capitol so that they can line up in the rotunda and chant "Hey Hey, Ho Ho, Scott Walker's got to go!" The teachers then led the kids ... looking like they were about eight or ten years old ... in chanting several pro-union slogans. Don't you just love that?

INTERESTING QUOTES FROM ANN COULTER

This lady cracks me up! Her biting humor really gets down to the heart of things. Here are some of her best. I would encourage you to visit her website: http://www.anncoulter.com/ and read the entire articles from which these quotes emanated.

*Can we stop acting as if people who work for the government are the heroes of working people? As George Bernard Shaw concluded his famous quip, "Now, we're just negotiating over the price."
(SIX-FIGURE BUS DRIVERS AND OTHER WORKING-CLASS HEROES, March 9, 2011)

*For Democrats, the purpose of government is to generously provide jobs for people who otherwise couldn't be hired -- because their skills, attitude or sense of entitlement are considered undesirable in the private sector. And no, I'm not just talking about Barack Obama.
(Uncivil Unions, March 2, 2011)

*There could be two students per class, and the Democrats would still be campaigning for "smaller class size," so that the government would be required to hire more public school teachers to staff classes with one student.
(Uncivil Unions, March 2, 2011)

*While taxpayers groan under their tax burdens, one group of voters is constantly lobbying for higher taxes: government employees, who are paid by the taxpayer. (Uncivil Unions, March 2, 2011)

*The need for a union comes down to this question: Do you have a boss who wants you to work harder for less money? In the private sector, the answer is yes. In the public sector, the answer is a big, fat NO.
(LOOK FOR THE UNION FABLE, February 23, 2011)

*Democratic politicians don't think of themselves as "management." They don't respond to union demands for more money by saying, "Are you kidding me?" They say, "Great -- get me a raise too!"
(LOOK FOR THE UNION FABLE, February 23, 2011)

*For decades now, the Democrats have had a good gig buying the votes of government workers with outrageous salaries, benefits and work rules -- and then sticking productive earners with the bill.
(LOOK FOR THE UNION FABLE, February 23, 2011)

*For 50 years, Democrats have harbored traitors, lost wars, lost continents to communism, hobnobbed with the nation's enemies, attacked America's allies, and counseled retreat and surrender. Or as they call it, "foreign policy."
(DEMOCRATS: EMBOLDENING AMERICA'S ENEMIES AND TERRIFYING HER ALLIES SINCE 1976, February 16, 2011).

*I guess people who work for the government are just smarter. We're so lucky to have them "investing" our money for us! Boy, egg must be on Warren Buffett's face!
(HOPE, CHANGE AND 'INVEST',  January 26, 2011).

PUBLIC SECTOR UNIONS ARE A CANCER KILLING OUR GOVERNMENT...AND US.

Here is the real problem with public sector unions. They get to use taxpayer money to elect their bosses and they get to use taxpayer money to convince their bosses to give them more taxpayer money.

Here's a summary of where we are with these freakin unions:
  • We’ve allowed them to become monopoly personnel providers for many state and local governments
  • We force employees to make weekly payments to union leaders
  • The union leaders use these payments to hire lobbyists to agitate for more government spending
  • The union leaders use these payments to spend millions on campaigns to elect politicians
  • The union leaders then negotiate with these politicians to set pay, benefits and work rules for their members
  • The politicians know that if they cross the union leaders, their reelection plans are more complicated
  • Taxpayers fund the whole thing
If we can’t break this corrupt cycle, no other policy decisions we make will matter. Yes, it is that important.

Hiroshima and Detroit: 64 Years Later

Take a look at what 50 years of corrupt Democrat politics and powerful union domination can do to thriving economy.  What makes it worse is that people of this city aren't willing to do anything about it.

http://yougottobekidding.wordpress.com/2009/10/11/hiroshima-and-detroit-64-years-later/

This could happen to many other cities unless we speak our voices to stop unions from buying our corrupt politicians.

Message from Jim DeMint, United States Senator

Dear Fellow Conservative:

What's happening this week in Wisconsin demonstrates how dangerously beholden the Democrats have become to their out-of-control union bosses.

Rather than vote on a measure to limit the collective bargaining power of public employee unions and ask workers to contribute more to their health insurance and pensions, Democrats fled the state bringing their government to a standstill. They completely deserted the democratic process, at the unions' bidding.

As the Democrats left town, unions deployed their workers to the state Capitol to demonize Wisconsin's Republican Governor Scott Walker. More than 600 teachers employed by Milwaukee Public Schools, the state's largest school district, even staged a "sickout" on Friday, forcing classes to be canceled.

President Obama is taking the side of the striking unions and has called Gov. Walker's reasonable proposals an "assault." His political machine, Organizing for America, is on the ground ginning up opposition to Wisconsin Republicans who are trying desperately to balance their budget.

Obama isn't the only one cheering them on. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi told reporters, "I stand in solidarity with Wisconsin workers fighting for their rights." The Senate's second most powerful Democrat, Sen. Dick Durbin, has said he is "rooting" for the unions.

Make no mistake, the Democrat Party is bought and paid for by the unions.

In pursuit of cushy contracts and pensions, courtesy of the taxpayer, unions spent hundreds of millions the last election cycle to defeat anyone who stood between them and federal coffers. Public employee unions alone spent more than $200 million to defeat Republican candidates. The top state employees union, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, spent more than $87 million in the 2010 cycle.

The unions will be even more active in the next election. They are certain to go after Republicans more aggressively then they ever have before. The unions are viewing Wisconsin as a community organizing "warm-up" for 2012.

It is critical that we recruit and elect more strong conservatives who are unafraid to stand up to the unions. Public sector employee unions have a stranglehold on our national and state budgets that must be severed. We need more people in government who will fight on the side of the American people, not the unions.

The Senate Conservatives Fund only supports Senate candidates who pledge support for a National Right to Work law. No American should ever be forced to join a union as a condition of their employment. If a National Right to Work law is passed, it will significantly weaken the unions ability to shutdown the government and schools like they are in Wisconsin now.

I'll be watching the events in Wisconsin very closely. I hope you do, too. It's an eye-opening preview of what's to come in 2012 and a reminder of why we must stay together in this fight to save our country.

Respectfully,
Jim DeMint
