The endless hypocrisy of Eric Holder

Attorney General Eric Holder has developed a bad habit of accusing others of acting in bad faith while doing so himself.

Take the issue of Guantanamo Bay. In Aspen, Colo., last week, Holder accused Congress of playing politics in preventing President Obama from closing the Gitmo detention center -- as Obama had promised to do within a year of his inauguration. But this accusation is disingenuous for a variety of reasons.

Obama campaigned on calls to reverse the Bush administration anti-terrorism protocols, charging that they were either unnecessary or counterproductive. Then, when invested with the responsibility of governance, he reversed himself on almost all of them -- tribunals, renditions, Iraq, the Patriot Act, targeted airborne assassinations and Guantanamo Bay. Holder himself once supported the detention of terrorists without regard for the Geneva Conventions. What made him so radically change his views?
In fact, any time Obama wishes to close Gitmo, he can simply carry out his earlier executive order, as President Bush opened it without congressional approval. In blaming Congress, Holder doesn't mention the real reasons why Obama broke his promise: The American public now wants unrepentant terrorists to stay there, rather than be incarcerated and tried in civilian courts here at home.

Holder got himself into trouble last year when he played politics by announcing that the administration would try Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the architect of 9/11, in a civilian courtroom. The boast was supposed to contrast an enlightened Obama team with the demonized Bush administration's supposed lawlessness in confining Mohammed to Guantanamo. But after New Yorkers protested, Holder backed off.

Meanwhile, the president rushed to assure the nation that Mohammed would be "convicted" and have "the death penalty . . . applied to him." At that point, Bush's planned military tribunals seemed a lot less prejudicial than Holder's planned civilian show trials.
Holder's refusal to link radical Islam with the epidemic of global terrorism is likewise entirely political. When asked at a congressional hearing if radical Islamic terrorists were behind the Fort Hood killings, the attempted Christmas Day bombing and the foiled Times Square bomb attack, he refused to identify that obvious common catalyst. He cited instead a "variety of reasons." The nation's chief prosecutor wasn't looking at the evidence, but adhering to a politically correct predetermined dogma.

On matters of race, Holder castigated Americans as "a nation of cowards" for not engaging in a national conversation on his own terms. This was an odd accusation since at present we have a black president, attorney general, EPA head and NASA chief, Hispanic secretaries of Labor and the Interior, and a recent Hispanic Supreme Court appointment, not to mention that the two previous secretaries of state were black.
Yet Holder himself has used race for political purposes. He criticized Arizona for its anti-illegal-alien law -- after admitting that he hadn't read it. Then he chose to sue the state for trying to enforce unenforced federal immigration laws. Now he has promised that if that tactic fails, he'll play the race card on Arizona, alleging in yet another suit that its new legislation would entail racial profiling. Remember, the law hasn't gone into effect, so Holder has no evidence of how it will play out.

Holder dropped a voter-fraud case against the New Black Panther Party, which was caught on tape intimidating voters at a polling place. He is leveling charges of racism against those who deliberately excluded racial profiling in their legislation, while giving a free pass to those who blatantly used race to bother voters at the polls.


In just 18 months, Holder has proven to be the most political attorney general since Richard Nixon's attorney general, John Mitchell. Like the hyperpartisan Mitchell, Holder will embarrass the nation until he steps down. Given his partisan temperament and checkered record in both the Clinton and Obama administrations, his departure is not a matter of if -- only when.

Gee...what a sweetheart this guy, Shabazz, is.  I can see why Obama and Holder wouldn't want to prosecute him.  He's just your everyday neighborhood thug...not really meaning any real harm.  But I think if white guys behaved like this, they would be arrested...but I dunno!  Perhaps for "hate crimes?"  I guess that only applies to Tea Party members.

Instead of prosecuting this guy, dickwad Holder files a lawsuit against Arizona's illegal immigration law BECAUSE IT WOULD RESULT IN RACIAL PROFILING.   WTF!

Neal Boortz summarizes these unbelievable and incomprehensible actions by Obama's lackey, Holder, thusly:

"Are you believing this? First we have the absolute refusal of the Obama Administration - and the Bush Administration before it - to protect our Southern border from the Mexican invasion and to enforce our immigration laws. Then we have the State of Arizona, besieged with crime, drugs and the costs that come with being the preferred crossing point for illegals. Finally Arizona has had enough and it passes it's own immigration law. Actually, it's a bit of a stretch to call this law "Arizona's" since it does nothing but take already existing federal law and codify it at the local level. So ... Obama's reaction? Does he apologize for his inattention to the invasion? Hardly. He instructs his dog washers in the Department of Justice to file a lawsuit against Arizona. The lawsuit says that Arizona is "usurping federal authority."

Let's cogitate on this for a moment.   Federal law makes it illegal to cross the border into the United States without legal authorization. The Feds refuse to enforce the law.
Mexicans invade America across the Arizona border. Crime soars in Arizona. A rancher is killed. Phoenix becomes the kidnapping center of the U.S. Drugs flood across the border with the illegals.v The Feds do virtually nothing.
Finally Arizona passes a law making what is already a crime under federal law a crime under State law.
The Arizona law gives Arizona law enforcement the authority to do what federal law enforcement officers can already do ... but aren't.
Democrats see Hispanic votes slipping away if the law is enforced.
Obama instructs a lawsuit to be filed citing "usurping federal authority."
Question: Robbing a federally insured bank is a federal crime. It's also a crime under the statutes of the State of Arizona. Should the Justice Department file a lawsuit against Arizona demanding that Arizona law enforcement officials cease enforcing Arizona's law against robbing banks because it usurps federal authority? Just wondering.

And what about this particular U.S. Justice Department? Is this the same Justice Department that dismissed charges against that white-hating member of the New Black Panther Party who has warned black males that if they ever want to be free they're going to have to kill some white people and some white babies! The New Black Panther Party member who stood in front of a polling place in Philly during the last election waving a steel baton and making threatening remarks to white voters? THAT Justice Department?

The same Justice Department that is headed by a man who pardoned terrorists who shot up the U.S. Capitol? Yup! That's the same Justice Department alright.

So .. here's the picture. The federal government is NOT going to secure our border with Mexico; at least not until amnesty for the criminal aliens who have already crossed is arranged. Votes for Democrats, you know. So while the Federal government sits on its hands Hispandering ... Arizona acts, then gets taken to court.

Are you still sitting?  Well hold onto your seats.  Franklin Raines who "earned" $90 million in salaries and bonuses in 5 years at FNMA...while cooking the books to hide the toxic loans so he could boost FNMA's earnings (thus increasing his Bonuses and selling the crap to wall street) has never been charged with any type of corruption or wrong doing for his involvement.  WHY NOT?  WHY HASN'T THIS CORRUPTICIAN BEEN CALLED TO TASK?  HEY ERIC HOLDER...DO YOUR FREAKIN' JOB!

NOW GET THIS, the day after the Democrats won control in Congress in 2006, patent no. 6904336 was approved (what an unusual coincidence. Hmmm). This patent would give Fannie Mae a lock on the cap-and-trade market. So whenever Congress gets around to passing cap-and-trade legislation, guess who is going to be its most avid support? Fannie Mae! The Examiner describes the patent owned by Fannie Mae as giving it "proprietary control over an automated trading system that pools and sells credits for hard-to-quantify residential carbon reduction efforts (such as solar panels and high-efficiency appliances) to companies and utilities that don't meet emission reduction targets." NOW CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT FNMA HAS TO DO WITH CAP AND TRADE ACTIVITIES?  WHAT KIND OF FINANCIAL AND POLITICAL SHENANIGANS ARE GOING ON HERE?  AND HOW IS THE AMERICAN PUBLIC GETTING SCREWED ON THIS?

Every one of us needs to be calling or writing our Reps and Senators to press for an investigation into this before it turns into another financial fiasco that taxpayers will be called on to bail out.

Directing Eric Holder to have a federal trial in New York city for the 9/11 terrorists not only dignifies their horrific acts of murder against 3,000 innocent Americans, but also shows the deranged Islamic world what a bunch of wimps this administration truly is...and that THEY are protected by OUR constitutional rights. WTF!

Mass merciless Muslim killers like confessed mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed should be put before a firing squad, not given a stage to discuss their ideology, and inspire future Muslim terrorists. Furthermore, it will tend to demoralize our military men who are fighting against this deranged religious philosophy.

The majority of Americans have no idea what motivates these fanatics and how they've been indoctrinated into killing non-believers and dying for Allah.

Beside being enlightened into the world of Islam and the fanatical teachings of their prophet Muhammed, you will see for yourself that Islam is NOT a religion of peace, love and compassion. In fact, over 60% of the Kuran dwells on killing, maiming and dealing with non-believers than with preaching peace, love and compassion. "Some Muslims may say that Muhammad preached love for people of other religions, but there is not a single verse in the Qur'an that commands this. Yet there are 493 verses that either tell Muslims to kill unbelievers or that speak to Allah's hatred for them and how they will be tortured in Hell. Non-Muslims are referred to as the "vilest of animals" in Islam's holiest book."

On top of that, the Kuran encourages pedophilia, and Muhammed himself was a pedophile as evidenced by the following passages:
