Culture of corruption: The Dems’ dangerous DHS pick

The “S” in President Obama’s DHS doesn’t stand for “security.” It stands for “sleaze.” In the wake of Dirty Harry Reid’s sabotage of the filibuster, Democrats have rammed through the Senate nomination of a shady Chicago crony associated with dangerous Clinton corruption and at least two visas-for-sale schemes.
The White House wants Alejandro Mayorkas to helm the No. 2 position at the Department of Homeland Security. It speaks volumes about this ethics-challenged administration that the most qualified person it could find for this important post is a government DHS hack currently under investigation by other DHS hacks. More on that in a moment.
On Tuesday, Democrats on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee advanced Mayorkas’ nomination to the Senate floor by a 9-0 vote. All Republicans voted “present” in protest. Thanks to Reid’s nuclear option on the filibuster, Obama’s party water-carriers in the Senate only need a simple majority. The appointment (scheduled for a Wednesday vote) is all but assured.
What qualifies Mayorkas to serve as DHS deputy secretary? Well, there’s his prodigious fundraising in 2008 as an Obama bundler, of course. There’s his dutiful pro-open borders record in his current job as director of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. And once again, the operational motto of the Beltway prevails: Screw up, foul up, move up.
During the Clinton years, then U.S. Attorney Mayorkas phoned the White House on behalf of convicted drug dealer Carlos Vignali. Mayorkas joined other high-profile California liberals in the dialing-for-pardons campaign. Vignali’s father (also suspected of drug trafficking) had dumped $200,000 in the coffers of Hillary Clinton’s brother, Hugh, to secure his son’s commutation. Mayorkas pleaded ignorance and admitted failure to do his “due diligence.” Like fellow Clinton corruptocrat and current Attorney General Eric Holder, Mayorkas’ pardongate “mistake” cost him nothing. He was instead rewarded with plum government positions and access.
Allegations of fraud, reckless rubber-stamping and lax enforcement — from veteran internal whistleblowers — have plagued Mayorkas’ tenure at USCIS. Rather than keeping his nose clean, Mayorkas apparently got himself involved in even more rotten business. The DHS inspector general has been probing a slimy visas-for-sale scheme tied to the Obama bundler for the past 15 months. (One reason for the delay: the IG’s office itself is under investigation for unethical behavior and favoritism.)
Mayorkas and other higher-ups are being investigated for their alleged roles in intervening on behalf of GreenTech, a crony company with ties to Democratic Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe and Hillary Clinton’s other brother, Anthony. The scheme reportedly gave “special treatment” (in the words of one USCIS official) to the company, which wanted EB-5 visas for deep-pocketed Chinese investors. In addition, The Washington Times reported this week that both Harry Reid and GOP Nev. Sen. Dean Heller lobbied the Obama administration to reverse itself on EB-5 decisions for foreign investors in a Las Vegas casino hotel.
None of this EB-5 corruption should surprise longtime readers of my column. As I first reported more than a decade ago, the EB-5 immigrant investor program was created under an obscure section of the 1990 Immigration Act. The law allows 10,000 wealthy foreigners a year to purchase green cards by investing between $500,000 and $1 million in new commercial enterprises or troubled businesses. After two years, foreign investors, their spouses and their children all receive permanent resident status — which allows them to contribute to U.S. political campaigns and provides a speedy gateway to citizenship. The benefits of the EB-5 economic development plan have gone to former federal immigration officials who formed lucrative limited partnerships to cash in on their access and to shady foreign fraudsters. The supposed economic benefits of the program are unverifiable and inflated hype.
Whistleblowers have been punished and ostracized. Independent media have been intimidated and, in the case of the Franklin Center, sued for raising questions about the Democrats and immigrant investor fraud. The most transparent and ethical administration ever is stonewalling to protect Mayorkas. And citizenship is available to the highest crony foreign bidders.
Perhaps when White House journalists finish protesting Obama control freaks limiting their access to photos, they’ll take an interest in top homeland security officials recklessly selling access to our shores.

BENGHAZI: I MAY HAVE TO START WATCHING 60 MINUTES AGAIN.

After the fluff piece 60 Minutes did on the Barack/Hillary 'lovefest' interview, I got so dehydrated from my projectile vomiting that I stopped watching that 'Obama Adoration' hour.

BUT YESTERDAY...they aired this:  A thorough, factual, segment on Benghazi! 

How did that happen?  Obama must've really pissed them off somehow for CBS to turn on him like this.  Or perhaps the real story is bursting at the seams to come out and they figure that they may as well be the first to report it.



 Obama called the Navy Seals and they got Bin Laden; the navy Seals called Obama and they got DENIED….!!

I pray that Obama & Hillary both burn in Hell for letting these Americans die because the situation was inconvenient to them politically.  This clearly indicates to what lengths corrupt politicians will go to get re-elected. 

And I hope Jay Carney and all those State Dept. 'flunkies' who went on air to try and make us believe the Benghazi attack was caused by a lame video are damned to Bolgia Six in hell as described in Dante's "DIVINE COMEDY!"  (Hypocrites are punished in this circle. They are forced to wear heavy lead robes as they walk around the circumference of their circle. The robes are golden and resemble a monk’s cowl but are lined with heavy lead, symbolically representing hypocrisy.)

Obama Administration Bars Priests from Administering Sacraments

The Obama administration is continuing to prohibit approximately 50 Catholic priests from saying Mass and administering other sacraments at U.S. military facilities around the world, according to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese for the Military Services.  

When George Washington was a colonel in the army, he requested civilian chaplains to minister to his troops. During the Civil War both Union and Confederate generals requested civilian chaplains to minister to their troops. During World Wars I and II chaplains were considered essential in dealing with the morale and spiritual needs of the troop; ditto for the Korean, Vietnam and Middle East conflicts.  

Apparently either Holder and Hagel are either products of outcome based education, or they are myrmidons for Obama and his regime who only want chaplains who will not preach what they deem inflammatory to the regime.  

What has this country come to?  How low and classless can the Obama regime sink to violate our freedoms of religion and free speech?

WHITE HOUSE LIAR CARNEY DEEMS FOX NEWS IRRELEVANT

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney during a press briefing Friday afternoon repeatedly ignored Fox New’s Ed Henry, prompting the reporter to walk out of the meeting.  Divide and conquer, that is what we are seeing. Remember that early in the regime we had a moment when FOX was declared to be a non-news agency and nothing more than a propaganda arm of the Republican party?

We are seeing the first moves to isolate and destroy FOX. Something big is now in the works, and its about to break out soon.

Most people know that the way things work is someone only gets attacked when they are a serious threat. Avoiding a FOX News reporter in an entire room of reporters who get called upon is in a way attacking FOX News. Many viewers are also aware of the President’s opinion of FOX News. Many people also like the ‘Underdog”, and still others like a powerful organization just because it can pose a threat. Many many more people will shortly be coming to find more relevance in FOX News.

1. NBC Gives More Time to Hillary Clinton Getting an Award Than to Benghazi Anniversary

In news briefs on Tuesday and Wednesday, NBC Today anchor Natalie Morales touted: "Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be given the National Constitution Center's Liberty Medal for her years in public service and her work on human rights." The two segments totaled 36 seconds of air time.  Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the network morning show only managed to offer a couple mentions, totaling 10 seconds, to the anniversary of the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya that killed four Americans – a major security failure that occurred during Clinton's tenure at the State Department.



2. Networks Ignore John Kerry's Refusal To Let Benghazi Survivors Testify to Congress

The Big Three network morning shows on Wednesday briefly noted the one-year anniversary of the Islamist attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya, but not one pointed out the latest development in the ongoing controversy over what happened. On Wednesday, CBS correspondent Sharyl Attkisson reported on Twitter that Secretary of State John Kerry "tells [C]ongress he will not honor the request to make Benghazi survivors available for questioning." Norah O'Donnell highlighted on Wednesday's CBS This Morning that "Republican Congressman Darrell Issa wants to interview survivors" and that "he's giving the State Department until Monday to meet his demand", but didn't mention Kerry's refusal.



3. Networks Blast 'Dangerous' Growth of Income Gap Between Rich and Poor but Forget to Mention Who's President
All three networks on Tuesday and Wednesday touted a new report showing the gap between the wealthiest one percent of Americans and everyone else has grown to its widest level since the Great Depression. Yet, none of them mentioned that Barack Obama was president for the last five years, the time in which the disparity grew so large. In contrast, ABC, NBC and CBS hammered Mitt Romney in 2012 for supposedly being out of touch with average Americans. On Tuesday, Nightly News anchor Brian Williams apocalyptically hyped the new study by a group of international economists: "We learned today that a dangerous, devastating, and paralyzing trend in the U.S. economy, the wealth gap, is getting worse." He added, "...The richest Americans, the top one percent, made nearly 20 percent of all the available income in America last year." If this is a "devastating" problem, it should be pointed out that Williams's yearly salary is $13 million and the journalist has a net worth of $40 million (according to CelebrityNetWorth.com).

45,000 NET GAIN IN JOBS FOR AUGUST---WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE?

 CAN YOU HEAR THE DEAFENING SILENCE FROM THE ADMINISTRATION, THE MEDIA AND THE LIBTARD ANALYSTS OVER THIS JOBS REPORT?

From today's WSJ—Employers added 169,000 jobs in August and July's figure was revised sharply lower to 104,000, suggesting the labor-market recovery isn't gaining strength and potentially complicating the Federal Reserve's plans to start dialing back its support for the economy.

 In its monthly employment report released Friday, the Labor Department lowered the combined tally for job gains in June and July by 74,000. The nation's unemployment rate stood at 7.3% in August, down slightly from 7.4% in July.

On the other hand there's this report from CNS News.com - Although the national unemployment rate dropped from 7.4 percent to 7.3 percent in August, the number of Americans who actually held jobs during August dropped 115,000 from July.

The simultaneous decline in both the unemployment rate and the number of people with jobs was possible because the "labor force participation rate" dropped to 63.2 percent in August. That is the lowest it has been since August 1978.

So July's figures were much worse than originally reported, and the August NET jobs increase (Job gains vs Job losses) was only (gasp) ....... 45,000 Jobs!!!!!!

If this regime would stop playing with the job numbers we would see that our country is much worse off than the Clown-in-Chief says it is.  The real U/E number is closer to 16% if O-hole directed the BLS to use the same basis for comparison that was in use by prior administrations.

Liar for Hire, Jay Carney, Proven Wrong…Again!

Jay Carney, the unapologetic liar, who often embarrasses himself by boldly going where no Nazi has gone before, has done it again.  The weasel has said that there is no evidence whatsoever that Obamacare is costing people their hours.  It’s a ridiculous statement just on the face of it, but even more so since companies have openly stated that this is exactly what they plan to do.

Forever 21, a retailer known for it’s low prices and constant sales, has announced that it is cutting full time employees to 29 hours a week to prevent them from being eligible for Obamacare.  That’s a cut of 11 hours.  That’s a pay cut of 27.5%.  They will hire additional part timers to make up the difference in coverage.  Now, perhaps Mr Weasel doesn’t consider that a cut in hours since Obama’s work week consists of 3 rounds of Golf, a vacation, and 2 Hollywood parties, making 27 hours look like slave labor.

Salon Magazine has named 10 companies who have said they would be cutting hours, calling them shameless.

And the worst part of all is that these jobs, whose hours are being cut are low wage jobs and the people affected are the ones who can afford it the least.  White Castle, Walmart, and many other large retailers whose business plan includes low prices simply cannot afford the high costs of Obamacare.

Wegman’s who has always given their part-time employees healthcare, was forced to announce an end to that practice due to the increased cost of providing Obamacare for it’s full-time employees.

WHAT OBAMA MEANT BY "TRANSFORMING AMERICA."

Since January 2009--when the most ill-equipped, inexperienced, undeserving, and most corrupt president ever to be elected began staining the Oval Office for the first time---the country has added a net total of only 270,000 full-time jobs, and has added 1.9 million part-time jobs. In other words, the total economy of this nation added seven times more part-time jobs than it has created full-time jobs.

Sort of makes sense, though, doesn't it? A part time economy brought to you by a part-time president. And, in his mind, ‘part-time’ is the O-Hole’s way of reducing the disparity between full-time work and no work: spread the wealth around by spreading the work hours.

And, when you combine the above numbers with the astounding increase in people on disability and the incredible numbers of those on 99 weeks of unemployment benefits, the country is worse off now than it was in 1929.

Transforming America ... where the new ‘full time’ means holding two or three part-time jobs to keep above water. Where burger flipping used to be transitional part-time JOBS for high school and college kids who wanted to earn some gas and pizza money and to get some work experience, and which these days the ObamaPhone, gimmeedese and gimmeedats think should be unionized CAREERS.

Everyone should just stop trashing President Obama's accomplishments. After all, according to the White House PR staff, he has done more for this country than any other president before him. 

Here is a list of his most impressive accomplishments that I compiled to set the record straight so that all low-info, libtards can defend this sad-sack socialist from attacks by those nasty conservatives.

1. First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.

2. First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.

3. First President to preside over, and contribute to, a cut to the credit rating of the United States.

4. First President to violate the War Powers Act.

5. First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

6. First President to force all Americans to purchase a product from a third party even if they didn’t want it.

7. First President to spend a trillion dollars on "shovel-ready" jobs when there was no such thing as "shovel-ready" jobs.

8. First President to abrogate bankruptcy law to turn over control of companies to his union supporters.

9. First President to by-pass Congress and implement the Dream Act through executive fiat.

10. First President to order a secret amnesty program that stopped the deportation of illegal immigrants across the U.S., including those with criminal convictions.

11. First President to demand a company hand-over $20 billion to one of his political appointees.

12 First President to tell a CEO of a major corporation (Chrysler) to resign.

13 First President to terminate America’s ability to put a man in space.

14. First President to cancel the National Day of Prayer and to say that America is no longer a Christian nation.

15. First President to have a law signed by an auto-pen without being present.

16. First President to arbitrarily declare an existing law unconstitutional and refuse to enforce it.

17. First President to threaten insurance companies if they publicly spoke out on the reasons for their rate increases.

23. First President to fire an inspector general of AmeriCorps for catching one of his friends in a corruption case.

24. First President to pass a phony Stimulus Bill with nothing to show for the money spent; and who increased the National Debt by $5 Trillion during his first term.

25. First President to appoint 45 czars to replace elected officials in his office.

26. First President to surround himself with radical left wing anarchists and confessed communists.

27. First President to golf 73 separate times in his first two and a half years in office, 102 to date.

28. First President to hide his medical, educational and travel records.

29. First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize but doing NOTHING to earn it.

30. First President to go on multiple "global apology tours" and concurrent "insult our friends" tours.

31. First President to go on 17 lavish vacations, including date nights and Wednesday evening White House parties for his friends…all paid for by the taxpayers.

32. First President to have 22 personal servants (taxpayer funded) for his wife.

33. First President to keep a dog trainer on retainer for $102,000 a year at taxpayer expense.

34. First President to fly in a personal trainer from Chicago at least once a week at taxpayer expense.

35. First President to repeat the Quran and tell us the early morning call of the Azan (Islamic call to worship) is the most beautiful sound on earth.

36. First President to tell our military men and women that they should pay for their own private insurance because they "volunteered to go to war and knew the consequences."

37. First President to tell the members of the military that THEY were UNPATRIOTIC for balking at the last suggestion.

38. First President to side with a foreign nation over one of the American 50 states ( Mexico vs Arizona ).

39. First President to declare three historic scandals to be "phony" in hope that would make them go away.

40. First President to start his political career in the home of two noted domestic terrorists and to invite a vulgar gangsta-rapper (Jay Z) and a renowned race-baiter(Al Sharpton and black racist) to the White House repeatedly and exchange personal phone numbers with at least one of them.

41. First President to appoint a top official at the IRS to screen conservative applicants for tax-free status...then lie about it.

 42. First President to sign a Sequestration Bill, then deny it, and stop visitors tours to the White House while going on expensive vacations shortly thereafter.

43. First President to continue campaigning (even after being elected for a second term) to tell voters what he is going to do to fight against all those Spending Bills coming out of Congress that are killing the US economy...even though they were bills initiated by him in the first place.

44. First President to stupidly regard the entire country to be as dumb as the libtards who actually voted for him.

Now I know this is just a short list of Obama’s accomplishments but it should be enough to defend your liberal position and your elected ‘leader?’  How is this hope and change stuff working out for you?  Don’t these accomplishments make you proud that you voted for him?

Valerie Jarrett also just happened to work for the city of Chicago, and just happened to hire Michelle LaVaughan Robinson (later Mrs. Obama), who just happened to have worked at the Sidley Austin law firm, where former fugitive from the FBI Bernardine Dohrn also just happened to work, and where Barack Obama just happened to get a summer job.

Bernardine Dohrn just happened to be married to William Ayers, with whom she just happened to have hidden from the FBI at a San Francisco marina, along with Donald Warden, who just happened to change his name to Khalid al-Mansour, and Warden/al-Mansour just happened to be a mentor of Black Panther Party founders Huey Newton and Bobby Seale and a close associate of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, and al-Mansour just happened to be financial adviser to a Saudi Prince, who just happened to donate cash to Harvard, for which Obama just happened to get a critical letter of recommendation from Percy Sutton, who just happened to have been the attorney for Malcolm X, who just happened to know Kenyan politician Tom Mboya, who just happened to be a close friend of Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., who just happened to meet Malcolm X when he traveled to Kenya.

Obama, Sr. just happened to have his education at the University of Hawaii paid for by the Laubach Literacy Institute, which just happened to have been supported by Elizabeth Mooney Kirk, who just happened to be a friend of Malcolm X, who just happened to have been associated with the Nation of Islam, which was later headed by Louis Farrakhan, who just happens to live very close to Obama's Chicago mansion, which also just happens to be located very close to the residence of William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, who just happen to have been occasional baby-sitters for Malia and Natasha Obama, whose parents just happened to have no concern exposing their daughters to bomb-making communists.

After attending Occidental College and Columbia University, where he just happened to have foreign Muslim roommates, Obama moved to Chicago to work for the Industrial Areas Foundation, an organization that just happened to have been founded by Marxist and radical agitator Saul "the Red" Alinsky, author of Rules for Radicals, who just happened to be the topic of Hillary Rodham Clinton's thesis at Wellesley College, and Obama's $25,000 salary at IAF just happened to be funded by a grant from the Woods Fund, which was founded by the Woods family, whose Sahara Coal company just happened to provide coal to Commonwealth Edison, whose CEO just happened to be Thomas Ayers, whose son William Ayers just happened to serve on the board of the Woods Fund, along with Obama.

Obama also worked on voter registration drives in Chicago in the 1980s and just happened to work with leftist political groups like the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and Socialist International (SI), through which Obama met Carl Davidson, who just happened to travel to Cuba during the Vietnam War to sabotage the U.S. war effort, and who just happened to be a former member of the SDS and a member of the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism, which just happened to sponsor a 2002 anti-war rally at which Obama spoke, and which just happened to have been organized by Marilyn Katz, a former SDS activist and later public relations consultant who just happened to be a long-time friend of Obama's political hatchet man, David Axelrod

Obama joined Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC), whose pastor was Reverend Jeremiah Wright, a fiery orator who just happened to preach Marxism and Black Liberation Theology and who delivered anti-white, anti-Jew, and anti-American sermons, which Obama just happened never to hear because he just happened to miss church only on the days when Wright was at his "most enthusiastic," and Obama just happened never to notice that Oprah Winfrey left the church because it was too radical, and just happened never to notice that the church gave the vile anti-Semitic Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan a lifetime achievement award.

Although no one had ever heard of him at the time, Obama just happened to receive an impossible-to-believe $125,000 advance to write a book about race relations, which he just happened to fail to write while using the cash to vacation in Bali with his wife Michelle, and despite his record of non-writing he just happened to receive a second advance, for $40,000, from another publisher, and he eventually completed a manuscript called Dreams From My Father, which just happened to strongly reflect the writing style of William Ayers, who just happened to trample on an American flag for the cover photograph of the popular Chicago magazine, which Obama just happened never to see even though it appeared on newsstands throughout the city.

Obama was hired by the law firm Miner, Banhill and Galland, which just happened to specialize in negotiating state government contracts to develop low-income housing, and which just happened to deal with now-imprisoned Tony Rezko and his firm Rezar, and with slumlord Valerie Jarrett, and the law firm's Judson Miner just happened to have been a classmate of Bernardine Dohrn, wife of William Ayers.

In 1994 Obama represented ACORN and another plaintiff in a lawsuit against Citibank for denying mortgages to blacks(Buycks-Roberson v. Citibank Federal Savings Bank), and the lawsuit just happened to result in banks being blackmailed into approving subprime loans for poor credit risks, a trend which just happened to spread nationwide, and which just happened to lead to the collapse of the housing bubble, which just happened to help Obama defeat John McCain in the 2008 presidential election.

In 1996 Obama ran for the Illinois State Senate and joined the "New Party," which just happened to promote Marxism, and Obama was supported by Dr. Quentin Yong, a socialist who just happened to support a government takeover of the health care system.

In late 1999 Obama purportedly engaged in homosexual activities and cocaine-snorting in the back of a limousine with a man named Larry Sinclair, who claims he was contacted in late 2007 by Donald Young, who just happened to be the gay choir director of Obama's Chicago church and who shared information with Sinclair about Obama, and Young just happened to be murdered on December 23, 2007,  just weeks after Larry Bland, another gay member of the church, just happened to be murdered, and both murders just happened to have never been solved. In 2008 Sinclair held a press conference to discuss his claims, and just happened to be arrested immediately after the event, based on a warrant issued by Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, who just happens to be the son of Joe Biden.

In 2003 Obama and his wife attended a dinner in honor of Rashid Khalidi, who just happened to be a former PLO operative, harsh critic of Israel, and advocate of Palestinian rights, and who Obama claims he does not know, even though the Obamas just happened to have dined more than once at the home of Khalidi and his wife, Mona, and just happened to have used them as occasional baby-sitters. Obama reportedly praised Khalidi at the decidedly anti-Semitic event, which William Ayers just happened to also attend, and the event Obama pretends he never attended was sponsored by the Arab American Action Network, to which Obama just happened to have funneled cash while serving on the board of the Woods Fund with William Ayers, and one speaker at the dinner remarked that if Palestinians cannot secure a return of their land, Israel "will never see a day of peace," and entertainment at the dinner included a Muslim children's dance whose performances just happened to include simulated beheadings with fake swords, and stomping on American, Israeli, and British flags, and Obama allegedly told the audience that "Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine" and there has been "genocide against the Palestinian people by (the) Israelis," and the Los Angeles Times has a videotape of the event but just happens to refuse to make it public.

In the 2004 Illinois Democrat primary race for the U.S. Senate, front-runner Blair Hull just happened to be forced out of the race after David Axelrod just happened to manage to get Hull's sealed divorce records unsealed, which just happened to enable Obama to win the primary, so he could face popular Republican Jack Ryan, whose sealed child custody records from his divorce just happened to become unsealed, forcing Ryan to withdraw from the race, which just happened to enable the unqualified Obama to waltz into the U.S. Senate, where, after a mere 143 days of work, he just happened to decide he was qualified to run for President of the United States.
