Then he gave the Queen a copy of all his speeches as a gift, and sent back England's gift to us -- the bust of Winston Churchill that was in the Oval Office.
He just can’t seem to get the etiquette thing down. Maybe he’s just not good at surrounding himself with sophisticated people, or maybe he just doesn’t have the experience a President needs to navigate those tricky state dinners…or international issues…or the economy…or Libya…or Israel…ok…I’ll stop there. So what was the latest snafu on Barack’s international tour?
While visiting the UK, Obama attended a dinner with Queen Elizabeth and a number of British officials. He decided to raise his glass and make a toast – and ended up speaking over their national anthem, which the Brits honor and revere (as opposed with the mockery he is making to our flag and anthem).
