"I thought it might be fun to compare two quotes from The Community Organizer. The first was from a Senate debate in 2005. You will remember that Obama was in the Senate ... he was there a whole 143 days before he decided he was ready to be the President of the United States. In 2005 the Republicans were getting a little fed up with the Democrats blocking so many judicial nominees. To get these nominees confirmed the Republicans would have to get by the filibuster. Obama didn't like that idea at all ... not even a little bit; so from the floor of the Senate our future president has this to say:

"... ahhh .. and ... what I worry about would be that th-th-you-eh-essentially have still two chambers, the House and the Senate but you have simply majoritarian ... ahhh ... absolute power on either side and that's not what the founders intended."

OK .. he's right. The founders intended for it to be extremely difficult to get legislation through the Senate. It seems to work .. .most times. But those were Obama's feelings in 2005 when he was on the side .. the Democrat side .. that wanted to use the filibuster to block Bush judicial nominees. Now things are different. It's the Republicans who are doing the blocking and it's Obama who wants the filibuster bypassed so that he can get his ObamaCare through. So ... what is Obmaa saying now? It's really pretty simple:

"I think most Americans think a majority vote makes sense."

Well now, isn't that absolutely typical? Hey ... I'll be fair here and admit that for both Republicans and Democrats alike, the virtue of the filibuster depends entirely on whether or not you approve of the legislation being filibustered."

GENERATION ZERO...a "must see" film

Sean Hannity tonight had an hour-long special show on Steve Bannon's new documentary on our economic crisis - GENERATION ZERO, a film that every American must see. It is a powerful, moving, scary telling of a crisis that was 30 years in the making and had its roots in the 1960s.

According to the reviews I read, the film begins in a low key manner and slowly builds to a crescendo of fear, corruption, greed and incompetence among the elite who control the country. Bannon puts the blame squarely on the shoulders of Wall Street bankers and their corrupt protectors in Washington DC. Essentially, the theme of the film is that the rich ruling elite have gamed the system for decades and have destroyed the middle class of this country. Government malfeasance in passing the Community Reinvestment Act, repealing Glass-Stiegal Act (which separated investment banks from commercial banks), and allowing 5 Investment Banks (Goldman Sachs, Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch,and Morgan Stanley) to leverage 40 to 1 led to the crisis. When these firms converted from partnerships, with individual liability, to corporations with no personal liability, pandora's box had been opened.

 

Bannon skewers the Baby boomers who came of age during the turbulent 1960's (read "Slouching Towards Gomorrah") and then turned into the greedy yuppies of the 1980's and 1990's.  The film proceeds through the unraveling of the 1990's and early 2000's.  The unraveling is induced by greed, shortsightedness, inability to make tough decisions, and most of all massive debts and poor decisions that have been made over decades. A feeling of doom resonates throughout the film. Whether America can rise up and take this country back from the ruling elite is unanswered. The more people that see this film, the better chance we will have.

 

The producer plans on a general release to movie theaters in mid-March. A tie in to the National Tea Party on April 15 would be a perfect way to have as many people as possible see this important film. I  hope that this film can help get this country back on track.

Their weak finances are threatening the EU and the EU just punished Greece by stripping them of their right to vote at critical meeting next month. Greece is the cradle of democracy. It means Greece has no more sovereignty in the EU. California you'd better pay attention.
We're doing the same things. And did you see Great Britain is dealing with "unexpected" inflation?
Oh Glenn, that could never happen here in America!   Really? 

How did Great Britain get to this point? Let's see:
• They socialized their medicine. We're following their lead on that one
• They pushed the risky mortgages. We followed their lead on that one too

The Government Education Monopoly...more BO lies exposed

According to John Stossel, those who support the current system of government education often point to programs like Head Start. Isn’t that something the government does well?  Politicians love it. Hillary Clinton called Head Start “such an extraordinary success."

And so you've spent 166 billion dollars funding 45 years of head start classes.  But now the Department of Health and Human Services has done another study of the results.  This study was well-designed: several thousand kids applied for Head Start, but then, for the purposes of the study, half were randomly rejected from the program. The DHHS then followed the kids over the next two years.

What did they find? As CATO education expert Andrew Coulson summarizes:

Not a single one of the 114 tests administered to first graders -- of academics, socio-emotional development, health care/health status and parenting practice -- showed a reliable, statistically significant effect from participating in Head Start.

Even the DHHS admits, " the Head Start children and the control group children were at the same level on many of the measures studied."

166 billion of your dollars have made...no difference.  Remember the president's promise?

So, since a government study found head start doesn’t have lasting effects, You might assume the program would be eliminated.  Or at least cut back.  But no.  The study has hardly received any attention, and get this: The budget Obama just proposed would *increase* head start spending by a billion dollars.

JOBS CREATED OR SAVED????

I don't really know what that means because no one in any previous administration has ever used this term before.  I think its a term that BO made up to make us think that he's doing a great job.  Maybe he is...but let's look at it this way:

THE GOOD NEWS: 2 million jobs were "saved or created."

THE BAD NEWS: Those jobs were all in the last 7 of the 57 states he campaigned in!

So I'm still not sure what it means.  But a poll yesterday indicated that only 6% of Americans believe that the stimulus bill created any jobs or improved the economy.

7% of Americans beliieve that Elvis is still alive!  Here are some of the workers benefitting from the stimulus funds.

According to an undisclosed source at the White House,

the Dept. of Defense briefed the president this morning.

They told him that 2 Brazilian soldiers were killed in Iraq.

To everyone's surprise, he collapsed onto his desk, head in his hands, visibly shaken,  almost in tears.  Finally, he composed himself and asked, 'Just how many is a brazilian?'

This is not surprising, since he obviously has no understanding of a billion or trillion either....and besides, he is a stupid dumbass.

IMPORTANT FOLLOW-UP TO HOW B.O. IS DESTROYING AMERICA

This is a follow-up to my previous post on 2/13.  It is a repost from Neal Boortz this morning and further describes in scary detail what the effects are of BO's reckless  spending spree.

Do we really understand what we're doing to our children, our grand children and future generations of Americans here? Without much fanfare, Barack Obama signed another $1.9 trillion increase in our debt ceiling. So, with this increase our allowable debt ceiling is $14.3 trillion. How much wiggle room does that give us? Our current debt level is still an astounding $12.3 trillion. Will it be weeks or months before The Community Organizer signs yet another increase in our ceiling? 

Taking that $12.3 trillion into consideration ... add up the interest paid on that debt, plus the cost of entitlement benefits like Social Security and Medicare ... and by the year 2020, that spending alone will consume 80% of all federal revenues. That does not include any spending for military or homeland security.

Within the next few years, the national debt is expected to rise to 100% of our GDP. To put into perspective, Greece - which is going through a major financial crisis - currently has a debt equivalent to 124.9% of the GDP.

We'll talk about this more on the show today .. but here's your bottom line. The United States is heading to exactly the place occupied by Greece today. If something isn't drastically changed we'll be unable to pay our bills. There will be nobody left who wants to loan us money. What's more, due to the size of the US economy there will be no bailout from the international community. 

Let's knock off the hubris. The survival of our nation is not guaranteed. American's appetite for government goodies and handouts must be curtailed. We're piling debt upon debt .. and ruin is down the road.

SO IT'S THE LIAR-IN-CHIEF, NOT BUSH, WHO IS REALLY F**CKING UP THE COUNTRY

Our Liar-in-Chief, President BO, has signed a law that will allow the U.S. to borrow nearly $2 trillion more than before.  The sneak signed the bill Friday night at the White House with little public fanfare...in the hope that all us older folks would already be asleep, and the younger ones would be going out to begin their weekend partying, thus no one would notice the additional burden he added onto the mountain of debt he has already burdened us and our grandkids with.

The maximum debt the U.S. can carry is now $14.3 trillion. The U.S. was already poised to exceed the previous maximum.  The report states that change comes at a time when the American public is increasingly concerned about the government deficits.  GEE, NO SH*T!  Wonder how they got that idea?

In an attempt calm those fears, the bill also included a "pay-as-you-go" provision.  Originally enacted in the 1990s, the law requires any new spending or tax cut to be offset by tax increases or spending cuts elsewhere.

In his weekly radio and internet lecture to us on Saturday,  BO praised the "pay-as-you-go" law, saying it was how a "responsible family or business" manages money. But I'm left wondering how he would know.  He's never run or managed a business.  All he knows about is being a "community organizer."  And since he has not proposed any spending cuts, that can only mean we can expect more tax increases up the wazoo to pay for this (but his immature little testicles haven't descended far enough yet to tell us directly that that is what this rhetorical deviousness means).

Again,  the Liar-in-Chief used his address to blame the current debt and deficits on the previous administration of  George W. Bush and the U.S. congress during his tenure.   But what this fool of a president seems to forget (conveniently so) is that only congress can approve expenditures, and congress has been controlled by Democrats since 2007.  So why doesn't he blame his own party for the reckless run-up in our debt (and rundown in our economy) for the last 3 years?

Isn't it time for this immature, man-child to stop blaming Bush and Republicans for everything wrong with our country today and face up to the fact that this is all the result of his economic policies, and the reckless spending of his dumbass congresses (think Nancy Pelosi and Harry Ried).  Here are the real facts in a nutshell:  In JANUARY, 2007, WHEN THE DEMS TOOK CONTROL OF CONGRESS, THE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE WAS 4.6% WHEREAS NOW IT IS 10%, THE BUDGET DEFICIT WAS $161 BILLION AND NOW IT IS $1.5 TRILLION (ALMOST A TEN-FOLD INCREASE), AND THE NATIONAL DEBT WAS $8.7 TRILLION (OR ABOUT $40,000 PER CITIZEN) WHEREAS NOW IT WILL BE $14.3 TRILLION WITH THIS NEW INCREASE.

Look BO, it's long past time to stop blaming Bush for everything including the skid marks in your underpanties and tell the people that it's you who is f*#king-up America!  AND NOT ANYONE ELSE.

Good example of how public servants became our masters

In April 2008, The Orange County Register published a bombshell of an investigation about a license plate program for California government workers and their families. Drivers of nearly 1 million cars and light trucks—out of a total 22 million vehicles registered statewide—were protected by a “shield” in the state records system between their license plate numbers and their home addresses. There were, the newspaper found, great practical benefits to this secrecy.
“Vehicles with protected license plates can run through dozens of intersections controlled by red light cameras with impunity,” the Register’s Jennifer Muir reported. “Parking citations issued to vehicles with protected plates are often dismissed because the process necessary to pierce the shield is too cumbersome. Some patrol officers let drivers with protected plates off with a warning because the plates signal that drivers are ‘one of their own’ or related to someone who is.”
The plate program started in 1978 with the seemingly unobjectionable purpose of protecting the personal addresses of officials who deal directly with criminals. Police argued that the bad guys could call the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), get addresses for officers, and use the information to harm them or their family members. There was no rash of such incidents, only the possibility that they could take place.
So police and their families were granted confidentiality. Then the program expanded from one set of government workers to another. Eventually parole officers, retired parking enforcers, DMV desk clerks, county supervisors, social workers, and other categories of employees from 1,800 state agencies were given the special protections too. Meanwhile, the original intent of the shield had become obsolete: The DMV long ago abandoned the practice of giving out personal information about any driver. What was left was not a protection but a perk.
Yes, rank has its privileges, and it’s clear that government workers have a rank above the rest of us. Ordinarily, if one out of every 22 California drivers had a license to drive any way he chose, there would be demands for more police power to protect Californians from the potential carnage. But until the newspaper series, law enforcement officials and legislators had remained mum. The reason, of course, is that the scofflaws are law enforcement officials and legislators.
Here is how brazen they’ve become: A few days after the newspaper investigation caused a buzz in Sacramento, lawmakers voted to expand the driver record protections to even more government employees. An Assembly committee, on a bipartisan 13-to-0 vote, agreed to extend the program to veterinarians, firefighters, and code officers. “I don’t want to say no to the firefighters and veterinarians that are doing these things that need to be protected,” Assemblyman Mike Duvall (R-Yorba Linda) explained.
Exempting themselves from traffic laws in the name of a threat that no longer exists is bad enough, but what government workers do to the rest of us on a daily basis makes ticket dodging look like child’s play.  

Often under veils of illegal secrecy, public-sector unions and their political allies are systematically looting the public treasury with gold-plated pensions, jeopardizing the finances of state and local governments around the country, removing themselves from legal accountability, and doing it all in the name of humble working men and women just looking for their fair share. Government employees have turned themselves into a coddled class that lives better than its private-sector counterpart, and with more impunity. The public’s servants have become our masters.

SEPARATION OF UNIONS AND STATE?

Much is said about separation of church and state, but an even much uglier conspiracy is growing like a cancer to rob us of more of our earnings...and we can't even do anything about it...FORCED UNIONISM!  And if there ever was a need for a separation, this is it!

John Stossel in his blog reports that Michelle Berry runs a day-care business out of her home in Flint, MI. She thought that she owned her own business, but Berry's been told she is now a government employee and union member. It's not voluntary. Suddenly, Berry and 40,000 other Michigan private day-care providers have learned that union dues are being taken out of the child-care subsidies the state sends them. The "union" is a creation of AFSCME, the government workers union, and the United Auto Workers.

This racket means big money to AFSCME, which runs the union, writes the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, a free-market think tank.  Today the Department of Human Services siphons about $3.7 million in annual dues to the union….

The money should be going to home-based day-care providers — themselves not on the high end of the income scale. Ms. Berry now sees money once paid to her go to a union that does little for her…

THIS FREAKIN' GOVERNMENT, THIS ADMINISTRATION, IS TRYING TO CONTROL OUR LIVES SO MUCH THAT THEY ARE COMMITTING TO MARRIAGES BETWEEN GOVERNMENT AND UNIONS AS ANOTHER WAY TO STEAL OUR MONEY!

Now we can understand why Andy Stern, leader of SEIU (Service Employees I'ntl Union) and NOT a registered lobbyist, was the most frequent visitor to the White House in 2009.  What do you suppose he and BO were talking about?  What objectives do they have in common?

UNIONS BENEFIT MOST FROM BIG GOVERNMENT

According to a National Institute for Labor Relations Research study, in 2008 and the first 11 months of 2009, unionized private-sector workers lost their jobs at more than double the rate of their private-sector non-unionized colleagues.

And now, for the first time ever, more than half of our nation's government workers are under union boss monopoly bargaining control.

The union bosses are losing ranks in the private sector, but their forced dues empire continues to grow at a disastrous pace thanks to the growth of government.

As NILRR explains, “Today Big Government, not the private sector, is Big Labor’s bread and butter.”  Bigger government. Higher taxes. It all means more forced dues for Big Labor.

I shudder to think of what will happen if they decide to go on strike!

THIS IS TOO IMPORTANT NOT TO REPOST

Why did Bernie Madoff go to prison? To make it simple, he talked people into investing with him. Trouble was, he didn't invest their money. As time rolled on he simply took the money from the new investors to pay off the old investors. Finally there were too many old investors and not enough money from new investors coming in to keep the payments going. Next thing you know Madoff is one of the most hated men in America and he is off to jail.
Some of you know this .. but not enough of you . Madoff did to his investors what the government has been doing to us for over 60 years with Social Security. There is no meaningful difference between the two schemes ... except that one was operated by a private individual who is now in jail, and the other is operated by politicians who enjoy perks, privileges and status in spite of their actions.
Do you need a side-by-side comparison here? Well here's a nifty little chart.

BERNIE MADOFF	SOCIAL SECURITY
Takes money from investors with the promise that the money will be invested and made available to them later	Takes money from wage earners with the promise that the money will be invested in a "Trust Fund" and made available later.
Instead of investing the money Madoff spends it on nice homes in the Hamptons and yachts.	Instead of depositing money in a Trust Fund the politicians use it for general spending and vote buying.
When the time comes to pay the investors back Madoff simply uses some of the new funds from newer investors to pay back the older investors.	When benefits for older investors become due the politicians pay them with money taken from younger and newer wage earners to pay the geezers.
When Madoff's scheme is discovered all hell breaks loose. New investors won't give him any more cash.	When Social Security runs out of money they simply force the taxpayers to send them some more.
Bernie Madoff is in jail.	Politicians remain in Washington.

Now that was just spectacular. I'm guessing nobody has managed to present this situation to you with such crystal clarity before.
OK ... I've understood this scheme for some time now, so just what was it that almost slipped by me? For some time now we've been told that it would be 2016 or 2017 before Social Security started paying out more money than it was taking in. Well ... we're here. In 2009 the economy forced many more people than expected into retirement. These people filed for their Social Security benefits. Last year Social Security durned near ran out of money. The benefits paid almost exceeded the taxes collected. There is, of course, no "trust fund" to go to. That money has been spent. For Madoff that was a crime. For our politicians, it wasn't. Now the chief actuary of the Social Security system says that we're going to "go negative" for the next year or two.
Now the politicians will naturally be looking for a solution. They cause the problem because they just couldn't stand seeing all of that money sitting in the trust fund. They just had to get their hands on it ... and leave behind some IOUs. Now the IOUs are due, and there's no money to pay them off. The solution? Well, they'll probably have to raise the retirement age. Then they may well introduce means testing. They'll tell retiring seniors who have done well with their own retirement plans that they may well lose their Social Security benefits. Can they do that? Oh hell yes they can. There is no federal law which guarantees Social Security benefits to anyone who has been forced to pay the taxes.
Then, of course, they'll try to raise the Social Security taxes. The earnings cap for this year is $106,800. My best guess is that the Democrats will propose a change in the law that allows the current earnings cap to stay, or to possibly adjust it to $100,000. Then they will give all income between $100,000 and $250,000 a year a pass .. then all incomes above $250,000 a year will be taxed with no further caps.

NEW ORLEANS DOOFUS MAYOR NAGIN OUT

According to Reuters, New Orleans has elected Lieutenant Governor Mitch Landrieu to be the next mayor as the city continues rebuilding from Hurricane Katrina. Landrieu won with 66 percent of the vote in the race to succeed Ray Nagin, according to results from the Louisiana secretary of state’s elections division. Nagin couldn’t run again because of term limits.

And thank god for that! This guy was the biggest doofus mayor ever elected in New Orleans. He sat around with his finger up his ass while Katrina was bearing down on the city. In the meanwhile, his neighboring governor in Mississippi, Haley Barbour, was hurriedly making plans without the help George Bush to evacuate his coastal cities in an orderly manner...which he successfully did. By the time Nagin pulled his head out of his butt, it was way too late. So what did he do? Well with the help of the liberal press, they blamed everything that happened onto Bush! Typical Lib hypocrisy!

I certainly hope now that the new mayor blames everything that goes wrong with N.O. on Nagin....just as Obama is doing as Dumbass President when all his plans don't work out.

According to the Washington Examiner, more than 40 former lobbyists work in senior positions in the Obama administration, including three Cabinet secretaries and the CIA director. Yet in his State of the Union address, Obama claimed, "We've excluded lobbyists from policymaking jobs."


Right! And pigs can fly.


So, the country may have heard, "we haven't hired lobbyists to policymaking jobs," but the White House tells us Obama meant, "we only hired some of the lobbyists who applied for policymaking jobs." In other words, they've excluded some lobbyists.


So I guess in their minds that makes BO's lies okay! WTF!


THIS PRESIDENT LIES EVERYTIME HE OPENS HIS MOUTH! WHY DOES ANYBODY WASTE THEIR TIME WATCHING HIM GIVE SPEECHES?

"CORPSE MAN" SHOWS BO STUPIDITY

Dumbass Pres Obama again showed his stupidity and ignorance of the military with his mispronunciation of the word "corpsman" in praising American military personnel at the National Prayer Breakfast last Thursday. He just read it off his stupid teleprompter.

President Obama pronounced "corpsman" as "corpse man" twice in the same address (actually 3 times). It's pretty clear that the Commander in Chief is sorely lacking in his knowledge of things military. I wonder how he pronounces Marine Corp ( "Marine Corpse?")

This is the dumbass who thinks he visited 57 states during his campaign!  And they make fun of George Bush...when this clown is even dumber IN SPITE OF his phony arrogance and smoothness.

STATE OF THE UNION LECTURE

Ron Hart, the political humorist, author and columnist,  has a great opening paragraph in today's column.  He said:
        "President Obama made his State of the Union speech/lecture last week, opening with the obligatory, “I am happy to report that the state of our Union is strong.” As any entertainer will tell you, it is smart to start with a good joke."

He further went on to say:  "The speech was classic teleprompter Obama: arrogant, dismissive, patronizing, and uncontaminated by any sense of reality. I felt like I was listening to a high school principal who calls the students together after a troubling event in the parking lot — lecturing, casting aspersions, and implying that he knows who did it.   Obama’s speech was full of scold and scorn, with none directed toward himself."

As I stated in previous postings, I'm sick and fed up with his "lecturing" us on the outrageous spending that he and his congress are burdening our future generations with.  Based on his budget proposal, the average households share of the national debt will soar to $75,000!  And he should stop his lies and blaming Bush for this financial disaster.  As I said before, only congress is authorized to spend money, and democrats controlled congress all of 2007, 08 and '09  when the deficit  soared from $162 Billion when Bush left office to $1.4 Trillion now (10x as much) under BO and his administration.

SO HOW LONG IS HE GOING TO GET AWAY WITH THIS DECEIT AND LYING?  WHEN IS THE MEDIA GOING TO START CALLING HIM OUT ON THESE LIES...AND HIS RECKLESS SPENDING PROPOSALS?


Everytime he opens his mouth and lies to us, he leads us to believe he is fiscally conservative and is curbing congressional spending.  But then he turns around and does just the opposite.  HE IS A SMOOTHLY POLISHED LIAR WHO IS STILL FOOLING A MAJORITY OF THE SIMPLE MINDED POPULACE.  BUT IN REALITY HE IS CRAPPING ON US AND LEADING US DOWN THE "ROAD TO SERFDOM!"

CHAINS WE CAN BELIEVE IN!

Never have I seen such an audacious display of arrogance and chicanery as this mope of a president is doing.  He is supposed to be acting in the best interest of  THE PEOPLE!  Instead he has become a self-serving ideologue on behalf of socialism in all its forms...and government takeover of our lives.

I don't know about you, but I'm sick and fed up with his "lecturing" us on the outrageous spending that his congress is doing.  His administration's spending is $ one trillion (YES...I SAID ONE TRILLION) over Bush's projected deficit for 2009.  Instead of looking at his teleprompters when he lies to us,  he should be looking into a full-length mirror so he could see who he really should be talking to when he spews out his "lectures."

Look!  The President can't spend our money; only congress is authorized to do that.  And who controlled congress all of 2007, 08 and '09?  DEMOCRATS, that's who!  And who had total control of these dumbassocrats in 2009 when the national debt skyrocketed into the ionosphere?  THE LIAR-IN-CHIEF HIMSELF!   Is he so f*&%#ing stupid that he thinks we don't know who has caused this reckless spending over the last 3 years?

So, I don't know, but i think that he should stop lecturing us on the very things he is doing himself, and also stop blaming Bush for causing all the problems that he "inherited," and start putting the  blame where it belongs...ON HIMSELF and his demented, er, Democratic congresses.
