Excerpt from BO's Teleprompter Blog

Big Guy looks at the Notre Dame trip as what he calls a "teaching moment." We know he's right on all of the issues, it's just that the Notre Dame faculty, students and alumni haven't heard him make the case for stem-cell research, abortion, and other forms of human rights and social advancement. And we expect they'll come away persuaded, even if Big Guy doesn't say a word about those issues. That's the kind of power Big Guy has.

What they won't come away with are the new, individually wrapped condom packets with the Presidential seal on them. We only hand those out at public-school commencement addresses where we know they won't go to waste.

Notre Dame's invite to Obama is an outrage!

OBSERVATION FROM THE BEACH: My undies really got bunched when I heard that Notre Dame invited BO to be it's commencement speaker at it's graduation ceremony in May.  Here is one of the outstanding Catholic institutions in the country compromising it's principles in order to continue it's tradition of inviting Presidents to speak before its graduates.  Never mind that BO is the most anti-life, pro abortion President in the history of the country, that he voted 3 times while still in the Illinois Senate in favor of killing babies that somehow survived abortion attempts, and included taxpayer funding of stem-cell research in his stimulus bill, spineless Notre Dame Administrators blow an outstanding opportunity to make a statement to the entire country that it does not condone BO's positions on life.

If they allow him to speak, I for one will have lost all respect for that school.  Here's a link to the full story:

Sent to me from a friend. Maybe BO will get message

What happens when good, responsible people keep quiet?  Washington has forgotten they work for us. We don't work for them. Throwing good money after bad is NOT the answer.

I am sick of the midnight, closed door sessions to come up with a plan.

I am sick of Congress raking CEO's over the coals while they, themselves, have defaulted on their taxes.

I am sick of the bailed out companies having lavish vacations and retreats on my dollar.

I am sick of being told it is MY responsibility to rescue people that, knowingly, bought more house than they could afford.

I am sick of being made to feel it is my patriotic duty to pay MORE taxes.

I, like all of you, am a responsible citizen. I pay my taxes. I live on a budget and I don't ask someone else to carry the burden for poor decisions I may make. I have emailed my congressmen and senators asking them to NOT vote for the stimulus package as it was written without reading it first. No one listened. They voted for it, pork and all.

If you are disgusted and angry with the way Washington is handling our taxes. If you are fearful of the fallout from the reckless spending of BILLIONS to bailout and "stimulate" without accountability and responsibility then we need to become ONE, LOUD VOICE THAT CAN BE HEARD FROM EVERY CITY, TOWN, SUBURB AND HOME IN AMERICA.

There is a growing protest to demand that Congress, the President and his cabinet LISTEN to us, the American Citizens. What is being done in Washington is NOT the way to handle the economic free fall..

So, here's the plan.

On April 1, 2009, all Americans are asked to send a TEABAG to Washington , D.C. You do not have to enclose a note or any other information unless you so desire. Just a TEABAG.
Many cities are organizing protests. If you simply search, "New American Tea Party", several sites will come up.  If you aren't the 'protester' type, simply make your one voice heard with a TEABAG. Your one voice will become a roar when joined with millions of others that feel the same way. Yes, something needs to be done but the lack of confidence as shown by the steady decline in the stock market speaks volumes.

Why, April 1??   We want them to reach Washington by April 15.
Send it to:
1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Washington , D.C. 20500

What will this cost you? A little time and a 42 or 44 cent stamp.

What could you receive in benefits? Maybe, just maybe, our elected officials will start to listen to the people. Take out the Pork. Tell us how the money is being spent.    Remember, the money will be spent over the next 4-5 years. It is not too late.

Think "outside the herd." Do this for your children...and their children, and their children....
I've got my tea bag ready to MAIL OUT APRIL 1ST!!!

BO's Legacy to Our Children

OBSERVATION FROM THE BEACH: There's little doubt that passage of the Obama budget would literally bring us to the brink of financial ruin. In fact the average household would be responsible for $183,000 in debt! Add in welfare and a whole host of government entitlement programs, and the average household debt skyrockets to more than $500,000...

What a legacy to leave our children!

BO's Teleprompter

Keep up to date with what BO is saying (and thinking) by reading his teleprompter's blog. It's really interesting to see what's really going on behind the scenes.

Misc. observations from the beach:

--An Obama Nation is an Abomination

--“Dissent is patriotic!"--- Hillary Clinton
So I guess Rush is just being patriotic. What's the problem?

======================
Q. - What’s the difference between a Democrat/Liberal and a Republican/Conservative?
A. - The Democrat/Liberal does what is best for his party.
- The Republican/Conservative does what is best for his country.

=======================
“Look, what he’s talking about is the absorption of as much of the private sector by the US government as possible, from the banking business, to the mortgage industry, the automobile business, to health care. I do not want the government in charge of all of these things. I don’t want this to work. So I’m thinking of replying to the guy, ‘Okay, I’ll send you a response, but I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.’”
“We’re talking about my country, the United States of America, my nieces, my nephews, your kids, your grandkids. Why in the world do we want to saddle them with more liberalism and socialism? Why would I want to do that? So I can answer it, four words, ‘I hope he fails.’”
-Rush Limbaugh
The transcript of Rush’s original comment is here:

===========================

Does it strike you as wierd (as it does me) that one busload of ACORN myrmidons taking a trip to AIG executives homes got more news coverage during the week than the crowd of 4,000 to 5,000 who met in Orlando last weekend for one of the largest Teabag Rallys held to date. Expect more.

BO Bureaucracy Pulls Major Boner

American Jobs Threatened by Cheap Chinese Condoms
FOX NEWS: Monday, March 23, 2009

With the American economy in turmoil, the government has decided to drop a long-standing contract with a U.S. company and give it to a foreign one, the Kansas City Star reported.

In a move that will cost around 300 American jobs, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), has decided to purchase condoms from foreign companies — in countries like South Korea and China — because they cost less than American-made prophylactics, the Star reported.

OBSERVATION FROM THE BEACH: Didn't BO promise that the stimulation package would save American jobs? WTF! Everything he says to us is a LIE!

Patriotic retirement: Dear Pres. BO....

There's about 40 million people over 50 years old in the work force - pay them $1 million apiece severance with stipulations.

1) They leave their jobs. Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed.

2) They buy NEW American cars. Forty million cars ordered - Auto Industry fixed.

3) They either buy a house/pay off their mortgage - Housing Crisis fixed.

4) They buy stock. The stock market rebounds with no help from the feds.

WHAT? This too easy for ya?

BO's first Federal District Judge Nominee

On March 17, President BO nominated David Hamilton, an Indiana federal district judge for a U.S. appeals court seat in the new administration’s first judicial appointment. The selection is the first concrete sign of how Obama might reshape a federal court system since he may have multiple Supreme Court openings to fill in the next four years.
Hamilton last year struck down a state law that required convicted sex offenders to submit to searches of their personal computers. In 2005 he ordered that the prayers used to open state legislative sessions be nondenominational.
A group of prominent conservatives, including former Attorney General Ed Meese, has issued a statement opposing his nomination as being unqualified, and noted for his Liberal Activism. This nomination represents a choice based on the merits of political ideology instead of competence and impartiality. Hamilton, Obama's first judicial nominee, has none of the judicial expertise or experience required, but all of the ties to left-wing special interest groups and a record of activist rulings reflecting his personal views that only a liberal ideologue could hope for. Hamilton is a former ACLU leader who lent his legal skills to the far-left special interest group. He was a fundraiser for the liberal activist group ACORN, the sponsor of the most comprehensive criminal voter fraud campaign in American history. Hamilton is committed to an extreme political agenda.
As a judge, Hamilton has shown himself to be soft on crime, radically pro-abortion, and hostile towards religion. With such a liberal activist record unmarked by significant experience, Judge Hamilton is clearly a bad and politically motivated appellate nominee. His experience as a political activist does not qualify him for a judicial office.
This is more "Change we can believe in?" This seems to me to be the type of change we don't need!

Pitchforks and Teabags

Observation from the beach: If I had any money left, I would invest in the pitchfork industry. Seems to me that there could be a lot of growth in pitchforks over the next 4 years.

Also for those of you planning to participate in the "Teabag Protests" be reminded to NOT enclose the teabag itself in your envelope because I'm told it will be disposed of without opening for fear it may contain some dangerous substance. Just send the little cardboard tag attached to the string. They will get your message of protest just the same.

Pres B.O. denigrates SPECIAL OLYMPICS KIDS

OBSERVATION FROM THE BEACH: Last Thursday on the Jay Leno show, BO denigrated "Special Olympics Kids." Sure, he apologized, but I wonder if the media will pillarize him as mercilessly as they would have if George Bush (or any other Republican for that matter) made the same gaffe.

Just wonderin! I also thought about why he is wasting his time on a comedy show when the country is in such turmoil. S'pose he thinks it is funny?
