Congress has the lowest approval of any entity in Government, now is the time for Americans to join together to reform Congress. We need to get a Senator to introduce a bill like this in the US Senate and a Representative to introduce a similar bill in the US House. These people will become American hero's!

2. No Tenure / No Pension:
A congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund moves to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system; Congress participates with the American people.

Why should taxpayers support these people for the rest of their lives?
5. Congress should no longer be able to vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay should only rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career.
6. Congress looses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
They thought it was good for the rest of us, so let them live with it also.
7. Congress must equally be subject to all laws they impose on the American people.
8. All contracts with past and present congressmen and lobbyists are void effective 1/1/11.
The American people did not make this contract with congressmen, congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.

Big Labor, Not Tea Party, Is Workers' Worst Enemy

The Service Employees International Union plans to send 25,000 rank-and-file workers on 500 buses to Washington this weekend to protest the tea party movement, Republicans and Fox News. If SEIU members had any sense, they'd be demonstrating at their own bosses' D.C. headquarters. It's the Big Labor Left, not the Tea Party Right, that is flushing rank-and-file union workers' hard-earned dues down the collective toilet in these hard times.The co-organizer of the so-called "One Nation" protest by a coalition of progressive groups is George Gresham, president of the behemoth SEIU Local 1199 based in New York. (This is the same SEIU affiliate that employed current Obama domestic policy adviser Patrick Gaspard as chief lobbyist for nine years.) Peeved by all the attention that grassroots conservatives and limited government activists have received over the past year, Gresham spearheaded the rally plans earlier this summer to "counter the Tea Party narrative" and reclaim the voice for "working people." Perhaps Gresham should pay more attention to his workers' pensions than to tea party leaders' media appearances.
SEIU Local 1199's Upstate Pension Fund has plunged from 115 percent funded in 1999 to 75 percent funded, and its Greater New York Pension Fund was funded at only 58 percent of its future obligations as of 2007, according to Hudson Institute analyst Diana Furchtgott-Roth. The union fat cats blame Wall Street. But while the pensions of SEIU workers nationwide are in "endangered status," the pensions of SEIU top brass have been protected and remain fully funded.
The D.C.-based Alliance for Worker Freedom, which monitors labor union abuses, reported last year that 13 major local SEIU pension funds are in serious financial jeopardy. Indeed, fewer than one in every 160 union-represented workers is covered by a union pension with required assets. Local 1199 workers -- already subject to wage freezes to salvage their pensions -- might want to know how their leaders were able to pony up $1 million for Haiti earthquake relief in January while their retirement funds wither on the vine.
SEIU leaders have shown a special talent for squandering their workers' dues. They poured $10 million down the drain in Arkansas on a failed bid to unseat Democratic Sen. Blanche Lincoln. They spent $10 million on a nasty lawsuit against a competing union in California. They've burned through union dues to transport SEIU radicals to bully bank execs and their families at their private homes and to bus workers to Arizona to protest crackdowns on illegal aliens, who depress the wages of law-abiding working-class Americans.
Under former Purple Army Chief Andy Stern, the union's liabilities skyrocketed from $7.6 million to nearly $121 million. Stern burned through $61 million to put Barack Obama and the Democratic ruling majority in place. And before abruptly stepping down in April, he installed a cadre of labor management stooges embroiled in financial scandals across the country.
One of them, Stern protege and former SEIU national Vice President Tyrone Freeman, remains under FBI investigation for siphoning off hundreds of thousands of dollars in dues money for his personal enrichment and pleasure. The Los Angeles Times uncovered schemes that ranged from piping $600,000 in union contracts to his wife's video production and entertainment ventures to paying his mother-in-law $8,000 a month to babysit his daughter and other union employees' children to footing a $13,000 bill for membership at a Beverly Hills cigar club.
Another Stern underling, former SEIU leader Alejandro Stephens, is under FBI investigation, the LA Times reported this week, for $150,000 in consulting fees paid "under a confidential agreement" signed by Stern. The feds allege the money funded a no-show job for Stephens. While probing the smelly deal, the feds also stumbled upon a cozy agreement by SEIU executives to shell out $80,000 to promote a book Stern wrote in 2006. The SEIU may not have been looking after rank-and-file workers, but Stern made sure the SEIU was looking after him.
Now, Stern's profligate successors will steer an estimated $44 million in union worker dues into Democratic coffers this November -- all in the name of defeating right-wing enemies of the working people. Perhaps it's time for rank-and-file workers to stage a tea party of their own.

We've fought revolutions before. There's a difference though. In 1776 we had patriots who were willing to die for this country. Next month we only need patriots who are willing to inconvenience themselves for a few hours by going to their voting precinct.
In 1776 we had heroes who left bloody footprints on ice covered roads as they marched to battle. Next month we only need patriots who will drive to a polling place and leave marks on ballots.
Everything that our forefathers fought and died for from1776 to 1783, and everything that brave men and women have fought to preserve since independence was won is on the line. Our nation and your freedoms are under assault. The radicals of the 1960s, the people who marched proudly with their red berets and Che Guevara t-shirts are running the show. They love the power of government. You love the vibrancy of freedom. They want to be your rulers. You're looking for leaders. The ballot box still works ... for now. The ballot box is still the most potent weapon you have against tyranny ... for now. Use the ballot box next month, or your choice of weapons in the fight for liberty may become much more - shall we say - troubling.
There has never been a more important election in your lifetime ...and I mean that no matter how old you may be. Do what needs to be done in 34 days or be eternally damned by future generations of Americans who will be left with nothing else but to read about freedoms and liberties that once were.

Obama Again Omits ‘Creator’ When Speaking of ‘Inalienable Rights’ Cited in Declaration of Independence

(CNSNews.com) - Just seven days after he sparked controversy by omitting the word “Creator” when he closely paraphrased the passage from the Declaration of Independence that says all men “are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights,” President Barack Obama again omitted the Creator when speaking about the “inalienable rights” that “everybody is endowed with.”
This time the president was speaking at a Sept. 22 fundraiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City, and his reference to “inalienable rights” was not as close a paraphrasing of the Declaration as it had been the week before.
“And what was sustaining us was that sense that, that North Star, that sense that, you know what, if we stay true to our values, if we believe that all people are created equal and everybody is endowed with certain inalienable rights and we’re going to make those words live, and we’re going to give everybody opportunity, everybody a ladder into the middle class, every child able to go as far as their dreams will take them--if we stay true to that, then we’re going to be able to maintain the energy and the focus, the fight, the gumption to get stuff done,” Obama said at the DCCC/DSCC event, according to the transcript posted by the White House.
Speaking at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s Annual Awards Gala on Sept. 15, Obama had left out the word “Creator” when otherwise virtually quoting from the Declaration of Independence.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident,” Obama said at that event, “that all men are created equal, endowed with certain inalienable rights: life and liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That’s what makes us unique.”
Obama’s omission of the Creator from this Sept. 15 reference to the Declaration was noted and discussed on national talk radio and television programs. Rush Limbaugh played an audio clip of the relevant passage from Obama’s remarks at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s dinner on his Sept. 20 program.
“Now, there's something very, very crucial and very important missing in that, and that is ‘endowed by our Creator,” said Limbaugh. “Now, Obama was using a teleprompter here. It's interesting. On Wednesday, he leaves the Creator as the source of our rights out of his quote of the Declaration of Independence. Yesterday heads over to church, eight o'clock in the morning, takes the hoof express, so the media can chronicle every step of the way. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, endowed with certain--by whom? Government? Who endows this equality? Who endows us with the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? This is not an insignificant thing, and the reason it's not insignificant is because all of these questions about who is Obama, who really shaped him, where are his values sourced to, who educated and informed this man? This is not a miscue. It's things like this that lead people to question his faith.”
On other occasions, Obama has correctly cited the famous passage from the Declaration without removing the Creator. For example, as Limbaugh also pointed out on his Sept. 20 program, Obama did quote the Declaration accurately in his book The Audacity of Hope.
Obama also quoted it correctly in the speech he delivered from the White House balcony this past July 4. “Two hundred and thirty-four years later,” Obama said then, “the words are just as bold, just as revolutionary, as they were when they were first pronounced: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.'"
On Fox News on Sept. 20, Bret Baier reported that the White House said the president had made a mistake when he omitted the Creator from his citation of the Declaration of Independence at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute dinner. The “White House,” Baier reported, “said that President Obama went off script and adlibbed when he made that mistake.”
The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute dinner, however, was not the first time President Obama has omitted mention of the Creator when speaking of the “inalienable rights” cited in the Declaration of Independence. He has also published official presidential proclamations that take this approach.
On Sept. 17, 2009, for example, Obama issued a “Constitution Day and Citizenship Day” proclamation that mentioned man's “certain unalienable rights” but not the Creator who endows man with them.
This proclamation was issued in both Spanish and English—with neither versions mentioning the Creator.

Today I read of your administrations' plan to re-define September 11 as
a National Service Day. Sir, it's time we had a talk.
During your campaign, Americans watched as you made mockery of our
tradition of standing and crossing your heart when the Pledge of Allegiance
was spoken. You, out of four people on the stage, were the only one not
honoring our tradition.
YES, "We noticed."
During one of your many speeches, Americans heard you say that you
intended to visit all 57 states. We all know that Islam, not America has 57 states.

When President Bush leaned over at Ground Zero and gently placed a
flower on the memorial, while you nonchalantly tossed your flower onto
the pile without leaning over.
YES, "We noticed."
Every time you apologized to other countries for America 's position on
an issue we have wondered why you don't share our pride in this great
country.. When you have heard foreign leaders berate our country and
our beliefs, you have not defended us. In fact, you insulted the

President Obama:
Today I read of your administrations' plan to re-define September 11 as
a National Service Day. Sir, it's time we had a talk.
During your campaign, Americans watched as you made mockery of our
tradition of standing and crossing your heart when the Pledge of Allegiance
was spoken. You, out of four people on the stage, were the only one not
honoring our tradition.
YES, "We noticed."
During one of your many speeches, Americans heard you say that you
intended to visit all 57 states. We all know that Islam, not America has 57 states.
YES, "We noticed."
When President Bush leaned over at Ground Zero and gently placed a
flower on the memorial, while you nonchalantly tossed your flower onto
the pile without leaning over.
YES, "We noticed."
Every time you apologized to other countries for America 's position on
an issue we have wondered why you don't share our pride in this great
country.. When you have heard foreign leaders berate our country and
our beliefs, you have not defended us. In fact, you insulted the
British Crown beyond belief.
YES, "We noticed."
When your pastor of 20 years, "God-damned America " and said that
9/11 was " America 's chickens coming home to roost" and you denied
having heard recriminations of that nature, we wondered how that could
be. You later disassociated yourself from that church and Pastor
Wright because it was politically expedient to do so.

When you announced that you would transform America , we wondered
why. With all her faults, America is the greatest country on earth.
Sir, KEEP THIS IN MIND, "if not for America and the people who built
her, you wouldn't be sitting in the White House now." Prior to your
election to the highest office in this Country, you were a senator from
Illinois and from what we can glean from the records available, not a
very remarkable one.
YES, "We noticed."
All through your campaign and even now, you have surrounded
yourself with individuals who are basically unqualified for the
positions for which you appointed them. Worse than that, the majority
of them are people who, like you, bear no special allegiance, respect, or
affection for this country and her traditions.
YES, "We noticed."
You are 14 months into your term and every morning millions of
Americans wake up to a new horror heaped on us by you. You seek to
saddle working Americans with a health care/insurance reform package
that, along with cap and trade, will bankrupt this nation.
YES, "We noticed."
We seek, by protesting, to let our representatives know that we are not
in favor of these crippling expenditures and we are labeled
"un-American","racist", "mob". We wonder how we are supposed to let
you know how frustrated we are. You have attempted to make our protests seem
isolated and insignificant. Until your appointment, Americans had the right
to speak out.
YES, "We noticed."
On September 11, 2001 there were no Republicans or Democrats, only
Americans. And we all grieved together and helped each other in
whatever way we could. The attack on 9/11 was carried out because we are
Americans.
And YES, "We noticed."
There were many of us who prayed that as a black president you could
help unite this nation. In six months you have done more to destroy
this nation than the attack on 9/11. You have failed us.

September 11 is a day of remembrance for all Americans. You

Replacing Michelle Obama!
Wow, she must have been really good at her job!
At the top right hand corner of page 17 of the New York Post, January 24, 2009, was a column entitled, "Replacing Michelle" in the National Review, The Week. Here it is below as it appeared:
"Some employees are simply irreplaceable. Take Michelle Obama: The University of Chicago Medical center hired her in 2002 to run 'programs for community relations, neighborhood outreach, volunteer recruitment, staff diversity and minority contracting'.
In 2005 the hospital raised her salary from $120,000 to $317,000 - nearly twice what her husband made as a Senator.
Her husband, Barak Obama, had just become a US Senator. He sure had. He requested a $1 million earmark for the UC Medical Center, in fact. Way to network, Michelle!
Now that Mrs.... Obama has resigned, the hospital says her position will remain unfilled. How can that be if the work she did was vital enough to be worth $317,000 ?
Let me add that Michelle's position was a part time, 20 hour a week job."
My thoughts: How did this bit of quid pro quo corruption escape the sharp reporters that dug through Sarah Palin's garbage and her kindergarten files?
I hope this is discussed so many times that the media will HAVE to cover it.

THIS IS WELL WORTH PASSING ON
President ME has called for a "full-scale attack." Yeah ... aren't you just oh so excited! Obama finally gets it and he's going to launch a full scale attack to get our economy growing again?
Sorry ... but I'm really getting sick of this nonsense and the narcissistic boob that's spouting this crap from the Rose Garden. That's right .. notify the Soros myrmidons at Media Matters. I just referred to Obama the Obtuse as a "narcissistic boob." I've had it. I'm fed up. I still have enormous respect for the office of the presidency .. but absolutely none - not one stitch - for the self-involved incompetent and corrupt person who holds that office now ... courtesy of millions of voters who glom on to mindless slogans and a Republican Party that complete squandered a mandate.
Actually ... that "Obama the Obtuse" line, though it sounds clever, isn't quite right. Obama isn't obtuse .. at least now as I understand the word. "Obtuse" means "difficult to understand;" and there is nothing difficult to understand about Obama. He said five days before his coronation that he was going to "fundamentally transform the United States of America," and he meant it. He had every intention of transforming the United States from a nation where people seek self reliance to a nation where the masses seek government-provided security; From a nation with a dynamic free market economy to a clone of the European-Socialist welfare state; from a nation where the majority worship God to a nation where the people worship, as Obama does, the God of Government.
Oh yeah .. Obama is going to launch his "full-scale attack" to get the economy back on its feet. Don't the dumb masses understand that Obama launched his attack 19 months ago?
Obama says that his administration is "hard at work" looking for new ways to promote economic growth. Sure he is. Any work he's doing to find a way to promote economic growth pales to the effort he puts in every day of his life to promote government growth.
Perhaps you've heard the sound bites from yesterday. Obama has this grand new bill he wants the Republicans to support that is supposed to really get things hopping again. What does the bill entail? More government spending, that's what! Basically it's a small business lending bill ... government backed and subsidized lending. He says the GOP has been blockading the bill. Did he happen to mention that the Senate Democrats absolutely refuse to allow the Republicans to propose any amendments to the bill? Look! The Democrats have a majority in the Senate! Let the Republicans propose their amendments, then vote them down! There's your blockade ... but somehow that's just fine with Obama. He preached all this bi-partisanship stuff when he was running for president ... but never meant a word of it.
Lending to small businesses? Is Obama trying to tell us that there's no available money to loan to small businesses right now? Let him explain why small banks are sitting on one trillion dollars in excess reserves right now .. but somehow don't want to put that money into the lending marketplace? Wait --- I'll tell you. He doesn't know. You could take what Obama knows about small business and the mindset of the people who own them and shove up an ant's ass and it would rattle around like a marble in the Super Dome.
These small banks aren't lending right now because they have no confidence that the small businesses they might loan their excess reserves to will be able to pay the back. Simple as that. These business owners are under assault. There's ObamaCare, the financial reform act, tax increases, card check and the empowerment of unions, Cap and Trade ... as my father (a red-ass Marine if there ever was one) would say, these small businesses don't know whether to $h1t or go blind right now ... they are no more in a mood to borrow for expansion than the banks are to loan them money.
Do you know what small business owners - the principal job creators in our economy - talk about over their morning coffee? They're laughing their butts off at Obama's promise to eliminate their capital gains taxes. Hell ... most of them; the vast majority of them don't PAY capital gains taxes! What does it matter to them if capital gains taxes are eliminated? This is like telling hookers you're going to eliminate their unemployment insurance taxes. Oh yeah ... that ought to bring down the price of a little tang in a big way.
Now I may concede the point to you that Obama really does want to do what he can to get the economy moving right now .. but that's only because there's an election on the horizon and he's afraid of losing his support structure on Capitol Hill. There's two problems though:
Right now we have dozens of federal agencies that are working on more than 120 new rule-makings under ObamaCare and the wonderful financial overhaul bill. Businessmen have no idea what those new rules and regulations will entail. They've found out about the 1099 reporting debacle under ObamaCare. What's next? The rules aren't even written yet, and when they are written they will be crafted - if that's the word - by bureaucrats who have never hired a worker, met a payroll or developed a business plan in their entire lives ... and these businesses are supposed to answer Obama's battle cry for hiring and economic growth?
What will the tax rate on small businessmen be next year? The great government-educated dumb masses may not understand this, but businessmen certainly do ... that their business income is going to be reported on their personal income tax return next year .. and that if that business income exceeds $200,000 they're going to be hit with new taxes. How much? Nearly 5 percent? That's right folks ... according to numbers from our own wonderful Imperial Federal Government, over 50% of the income that will be hit with Obama's tax increase on the evil, filthy rich will be BUSINESS income. That's not even mentioning increases in dividend and interest taxes. Let's hold a job fair!
I never imagined it could be this bad. I knew Obama was a radical. I saw the American votes falling for his wonderfully-crafted speeches and mindless slogans. I actually felt the Republicans deserved some comeuppance for their performance after the 1994 revolution and for putting John McCain instead of someone like Mitt Romney at the head of the ticket ... but Lord help us, I never suspected this guy could be quite THIS bad.
Costa Rica anyone? Panama? New Zealand? Does it come to the point that we leave this idiot to the voters who put him in power? I guess we'll know a lot more on November 3rd.

These people are scared to death! They saw Obama ram through a health care bill that clearly the public did not want ... a health care bill that adds to our health care and increases our deficit. Is this supposed to put them in a spending mood? Business leaders have no idea how much of their earnings are going to be seized in the form of taxes or ObamaCare penalties in the coming years. This is supposed to put them in a hiring mood?
(b) Even if President Wonderful DID know what to do, he would probably balk because his anti-capitalist agenda is more important than poor saps who probably didn't vote for him anyway finding a job.
